Punjab Govt. approves budget for construction of Sheranwala Gate Flyover

In a meeting, the official approval of the Sheranwala Gate Flyover was given. Director General Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahmed Aziz Tarar and Chief Engineer LDA Abdul Razzaq Chohan were also present in the meeting.

The proposal of the Sheranwala Gate Flyover and Shahkam Chowk projects was presented. However, the approval for Shahkhm Chowk Flyover has been postponed till the next meeting and a detailed study has been demanded.

According to the details, the reservations regarding Shahkam Chowk Flyover were discussed in the meeting. The 3D model is also ready for the project. For this project, an estimate of 4bn and 30 crores was presented out of which, 60 crores were reduced. The completion time was also reduced to 10 months from 1 year. However, for Sheranwala Gate Flyover, an estimate of Rs. 4.5 bn was presented that also includes the cost of land acquisition.

شیرانوالہ گیٹ فلائی اوور اور شاہکم چوک منصوبوں کی تجویز پیش کی گئی۔ تاہم شاہ رخ چوک فلائی اوور کی منظوری اگلے اجلاس تک ملتوی کردی گئی ہے اور تفصیلی مطالعے کا مطالبہ کیا گیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اجلاس میں شاہکم چوک فلائی اوور سے متعلق تحفظات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ 3D ماڈل بھی اس منصوبے کے لئے تیار ہے۔ اس پروجیکٹ کے لئے 4bn اور 30 کروڑ کا تخمینہ پیش کیا گیا تھا ، جس میں سے 60 کروڑ کم ہوگئے تھے۔ تکمیل کا وقت بھی 1 سال سے کم کرکے 10 ماہ کردیا گیا۔ تاہم ، شیرانوالہ گیٹ فلائی اوور کے لئے ، ایک روپے کا تخمینہ 4.5 بلین پیش کیا گیا جس میں زمین کے حصول کی لاگت بھی شامل ہے۔
