How to Delete Your ilaan Account

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

Delete via the ilaan App

1. Open the ilaan app or go to www.ilaan.com
2. Log in to your account
3. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Delete via Email Request

Send an email to [email protected] with:

Subject: Delete my account
Include: Your registered phone number or email address

We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email.

What We Delete

Your name, email address, and phone number
Your property listings and photos
Your saved / favourite properties
Your messages and conversations
Your account profile and settings
Your search history and preferences

What We Retain

We are required by Pakistani law (FBR regulations, Anti-Money Laundering Act) to retain payment records, transaction receipts, and financial records for a minimum of 5 years. These records are kept in anonymised form and are not used for any marketing purpose.

Deletion Timeline

Account deactivated: Immediately upon request
Personal data deleted: Within 7 business days
Backup purge: Within 30 days
