Tax Recoveries by Federal Government Increase by 31% During the Fiscal Year

Islamabad: The federal government has collected a massive total of PKR 35.96 billion in the first four months of the ongoing fiscal year. According to news sources, it is a record rise of 31% in tax recoveries.
On the other hand, the Regional Tax Office (RTO) Islamabad has collected a total amount of PKR 25.8 billion in income taxes till October making it an official rise of 22% since last fiscal year. The Chief Commissioner RTO Islamabad while sharing the statistics mentioned that the office has collected a total of PKR 515 million in Sales Tax and PKR 650 million as Federal Excise Duty.
As the fiscal year continues, more growth and rise in collections remains a huge possibility.
