Karachi: President Defence and Clifton Association of Real Estate Agents (DEFCLAREA) Noor Abrejo inaugurated Pakistan’s first institute for real estate, National Institute of Real Estate Management (NIREM), in Karachi in presence of big names from the real estate fraternity. He was accompanied by former president of DEFCLAREA Raja Mazhar, Shahid Aleem, and others. The inauguration took place on January 11, 2020 in the head office of NIREM in a grand ceremony. Founder of NIREM Zahid Iqbal formally opened the event and thanked all the members of DEFCLAREA including the former management for their presence. “We have always worked to uplift the image of the real estate community and in every step, DEFCLAREA has supported us. This is not our institute, it belongs to everyone from the real estate sector,” said Zahid Iqbal.
Speaking on the importance of training real estate agents, the keynote speaker and founder of NIREM Zahid Iqbal added, “We request everyone to come forward and make it a learning place for everyone. Through this institute, I want to share my knowledge and experience with others and I would request anyone who wants the same, to come and share in this institute with people who would value it.”
The entire audience appreciated the vision and step taken by Zahid Iqbal and agreed to support the cause on national level. The registration in the institute is now open and more sign ups are expected in the 2020 to which the training would be provided.
