Lahore: Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mahmood-ur-Rashid has instructed the LDA officials to complete the construction work of Firdous Market underpass as soon as possible.
While visiting the site of Firdous Market underpass, Mian Mahmood-ur-Rashid inspected the pace of development work being carried out at the site and directed the concerned LDA Officials to wrap the construction work and complete the project as early as possible.

He said that the underpass would soon be opened for the public which will reduce the traffic problems in the area for the greater good of the people. He added that due to a load of traffic in the Firdous Market and adjoining areas, traffic jam had become a routine. This problem would now be solved once the underpass is opened.

فردوس مارکیٹ انڈر پاس کی سائٹ کا دورہ کرتے ہوئے میاں محمود الرشید نے سائٹ پر جاری ترقیاتی کاموں کی رفتار کا معائنہ کیا اور متعلقہ ایل ڈی اے حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ تعمیراتی کام لپیٹ کر جلد از جلد اس منصوبے کو مکمل کریں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ انڈر پاس کو جلد ہی عوام کے لئے کھول دیا جائے گا جس سے لوگوں کی زیادہ سے زیادہ بھلائی کے لئے علاقے میں ٹریفک کے مسائل کم ہوں گے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ فردوس مارکیٹ اور اس سے ملحقہ علاقوں میں ٹریفک کی بھرمار کے باعث ٹریفک جام معمول بن گیا تھا۔ انڈر پاس کھولنے کے بعد اب یہ مسئلہ حل ہوجائے گا۔
