Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid has announced to build a new 500-bed hospital in Sialkot to improve the health facilities in the region.
Sialkot: While addressing the participants of the second convocation of Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College (KMSMC) Sialkot, the Health Minister Punjab Dr. Yasmeen Rashid announced that the government has decided to build a 500-bed hospital in Sialkot.
She mentioned that the government is making sincere efforts to ensure the provision and availability of quality medical facilities for the general public at the local level. Speaking at the event, Yasmeen Rashid said, “effective and positive policies of the government are now bearing fruits and the health sector is improving day by day.”

Earlier, she also mentioned on a number of occasions that the government was trying to achieve goals of universal health coverage.
