ISLAMABAD: The development activities of Gwadar Port Free Zone Phase-1 have finished with all infrastructure including power, water, and roads, and now operational.
According to the details, and economic survey for the year 2019-2020 issued on Thursday stated that more than 30 enterprises from various sectors, including banks, insurance, financial leasing, fishery products processing, pipe, edible oil processing, warehouses, furniture manufacturing, trade and logistics, electric vehicle assembly have already been registered in Gwadar Port Free Zone.
The first deepest seaport in the country with a world-class maritime hub, Gwadar port is praise to Karachi Port and Port Qasim in order to stimulate the economic growth of Pakistan in general and Baluchistan in particular by better consumption of the available resources of the country.
Gwadar Port is moreover providing a doorway for land-locked energy-rich Central Asian States, Western China, and Afghanistan through transit trade and offering transship services.
