Wasa facilitation center operational in Lahore

To cope with different types of consumer complaints, Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has established a facilitation centre which is fully operational now at LDA Plaza on Egerton Road.

Managing Director Wasa Syed Zahid Aziz said this while talking to The News during a visit to the facilitation centre. He said that the facilitation centre was established in the light of strategy to uplift the vision of Wasa and its services.

Giving details of the complaints to be handled by the facilitation centre, Wasa MD said that the centre will take-up

citizen’s complaints regarding payment not accounted for, change of name, address, and property number, no water/sewer connection at the site, revision of bill on actual reading, adjustment of incorrect debit/credit, change of plot size or property number, wrong meter reading, a consumer receiving more than one bill, incorrect average charged, reconnection/disconnection, change of meter.

Also, consumers receiving more than a bill, change of category/connection type, sewer blockage and overflow, contaminated water, water shortage, and low pressure, pipe leakage and bursting, missing manhole rings, missing manhole covers, and broken manhole rings, etc.

MD Wasa said that the center has the capacity to deal with 400 customers per day. He concluded that the center was a one-point contact facility designed to give our valued customers maximum convenience with personalize and prompt service.

منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر واسا سید زاہد عزیز نے یہ بات سہولت مرکز کے دورے کے دوران دی نیوز سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سہولت مرکز کا قیام حکمت عملی کی روشنی میں واسا اور اس کی خدمات کے وژن کو بلند کرنے کے لیے کیا گیا ہے۔

سہولت مرکز کی طرف سے نمٹائی جانے والی شکایات کی تفصیلات دیتے ہوئے ایم ڈی واسا نے کہا کہ مرکز سنبھالے گا۔

ادائیگی سے متعلق شہریوں کی شکایات ، نام ، پتہ اور پراپرٹی نمبر کی تبدیلی ، سائٹ پر پانی/گٹر کا کنکشن نہیں ، اصل پڑھنے پر بل پر نظر ثانی ، غلط ڈیبٹ/کریڈٹ ایڈجسٹمنٹ ، پلاٹ کے سائز یا پراپرٹی نمبر میں تبدیلی ، غلط میٹر ریڈنگ ، ایک سے زائد بل وصول کرنے والا صارف ، غلط اوسط چارج ، دوبارہ رابطہ/منقطع ، میٹر کی تبدیلی۔

نیز ، بل سے زیادہ وصول کرنے والا ، زمرہ/کنکشن کی قسم کی تبدیلی ، گٹر کی رکاوٹ اور اوور فلو ، آلودہ پانی ، پانی کی قلت اور کم دباؤ ، پائپ کا رساو اور پھٹنا ، مین ہول کی انگوٹھیوں کی گمشدگی ، مین ہول کے کور اور ٹوٹے ہوئے مین ہول کی انگوٹھی وغیرہ۔

ایم ڈی واسا نے کہا کہ یہ مرکز روزانہ 400 صارفین سے نمٹنے کی صلاحیت رکھتا ہے۔ انہوں نے یہ نتیجہ اخذ کیا کہ یہ مرکز ایک نکاتی رابطہ سہولت ہے جو ہمارے قابل قدر صارفین کو ذاتی اور فوری سروس کے ساتھ زیادہ سے زیادہ سہولت فراہم کرنے کے لیے بنایا گیا ہے۔
