Uplift package for Attock to be revealed: CM

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that funds amounting to Rs360 billion have been earmarked for the district development package across Punjab in the budget 2021-22, as the development process has been extended to remote areas.

He was talking to the media after offering condolences to Sahibzada Amir Ahmed over the death of his mother in Basal Sharif, Attock. He extended sympathies to the bereaved family and offered Fateha for the departed soul, said the sources.

Provincial Ministers Malik Muhammad Anwar, Yawar Abbas Bukhari, MNA Maj (retd) Tahir Sadiq, PTI leader Malik Khurram Ali Khan, and others were also present.

The chief minister said a huge development package would be announced for Attock soon. He also announced naming Government Degree College Basal after Khwaja Amir Ahmed Chishti (RA).

He said Basal would be made a model village and its residents would be provided with every facility, as Attock was his second home. The government has formulated district development packages according to the particular needs, and requirements of every district, he said.

Meanwhile, in a statement here Tuesday, the chief minister said the opposition had no agenda for the country, as they are corrupt, and their only concern is saving their booty.

He said the past rulers did nothing for the public welfare, as corruption was rampant in their tenures. The country would have not plunged into a quagmire of loans had there been no corruption, the CM added.

وزیراعلیٰ سردار عثمان بزدار نے کہا ہے کہ بجٹ 2021-22 میں پنجاب بھر میں ضلعی ترقیاتی پیکج کے لیے 360 ارب روپے کے فنڈز مختص کیے گئے ہیں ، کیونکہ ترقیاتی عمل کو دور دراز علاقوں تک بڑھایا گیا ہے۔

وہ بسال شریف ، اٹک میں اپنی والدہ کے انتقال پر صاحبزادہ امیر احمد سے تعزیت پیش کرنے کے بعد میڈیا سے گفتگو کر رہے تھے۔ انہوں نے سوگوار خاندان سے ہمدردی کا اظہار کیا اور مرحوم کی روح کے لیے فاتحہ خوانی کی۔

صوبائی وزراء ملک محمد انور ، یاور عباس بخاری ، ایم این اے میجر (ر) طاہر صادق ، پی ٹی آئی رہنما ملک خرم علی خان اور دیگر بھی موجود تھے۔

وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ اٹک کے لیے بہت بڑے ترقیاتی پیکج کا اعلان جلد کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج باسل کو خواجہ امیر احمد چشتی (رح) کے نام سے منسوب کرنے کا بھی اعلان کیا۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ باسل کو ایک ماڈل ولیج بنایا جائے گا اور اس کے رہائشیوں کو ہر سہولت فراہم کی جائے گی ، کیونکہ اٹک ان کا دوسرا گھر تھا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت نے ہر ضلع کی مخصوص ضروریات اور ضروریات کے مطابق ضلعی ترقیاتی پیکج وضع کیے ہیں۔

دریں اثنا ، منگل کو یہاں ایک بیان میں ، وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ اپوزیشن کا ملک کے لیے کوئی ایجنڈا نہیں ہے ، کیونکہ وہ کرپٹ ہیں ، اور ان کی واحد فکر ان کا مال بچانا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ماضی کے حکمرانوں نے عوامی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے کچھ نہیں کیا کیونکہ ان کے دور میں کرپشن عروج پر تھی۔ وزیراعلیٰ نے مزید کہا کہ اگر کرپشن نہ ہوتی تو ملک قرضوں کی دلدل میں نہ ڈوبتا۔a
