Unauthorized Buildings Demolished By RDA

An RDA spokesperson revealed that the operation was carried out under the directions of the Director-General (DG) RDA by the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate. The buildings demolished were not built according to the approved maps. This violates the Punjab Development of States Act 1976 and RDA Building and Zoning Regulations, 2020.

Under the Director-General RDA, the MP&TE Directorate conducted several operations against illegal commercial and residential buildings. These include plazas, shops, schools, and other structures located in RDA-controlled Rawalpindi.

The MP&TE has been strongly directed by the DG RDA to take strict action against any illegal structure, encroachments, and commercial activities without discrimination.

ڈائریکٹر جنرل آر ڈی اے کے تحت، ایم پی اینڈ ٹی ای ڈائریکٹوریٹ نے غیر قانونی تجارتی اور رہائشی عمارتوں کے خلاف متعدد کارروائیاں کیں۔ ان میں آر ڈی اے کے زیر کنٹرول راولپنڈی میں واقع پلازے، دکانیں، اسکول اور دیگر ڈھانچے شامل ہیں۔
ایم پی اینڈ ٹی ای کو ڈی جی آر ڈی اے کی طرف سے سختی سے ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ کسی بھی غیر قانونی ڈھانچے، تجاوزات اور تجارتی سرگرمیوں کے خلاف بلا امتیاز سخت کارروائی کریں۔
