UAE to construct a state-of-the-art skyscraper in Lahore

According to the news sources, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has in principle agreed to construct the country’s first state-of-the-art skyscraper in Lahore besides investing a total of Rs 60 billion in Punjab’s construction industry.

The announcement was made by UAE Minister for Culture, Youth and Social Development Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak during his one-on-one meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in Dubai recently.

According to a spokesperson for the CM, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak accorded a warm reception to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and announced to make the mega-investment of Rs 60 billion in Punjab’s construction sector, including the construction of the country’s first state-of-the-art skyscraper in Lahore which would be called ‘Mubarak Centre’.

According to the details, the Dhabi Group would construct the Mubarak Centre under the auspices of TAAVUN Pvt Ltd. The project is expected to be built on the bank of River Ravi, he said, adding that the government would provide all possible cooperation with regards to the construction.

“It would provide (luxurious) accommodations to international cricket teams and it would prove a game-changer in real terms,” he added.

He said that CM Usman Buzdar believes that the Dhabi Group would utilize its utmost professional abilities to complete this historical mega project. He said that new special economic zones (SEZs) were being constructed across the province.

خبر رساں ذرائع کے مطابق متحدہ عرب امارات (یو اے ای) نے پنجاب کی تعمیراتی صنعت میں مجموعی طور پر 60 ارب روپے کی سرمایہ کاری کے علاوہ لاہور میں ملک کی پہلی جدید ترین فلک بوس عمارت کی تعمیر پر اصولی طور پر رضامندی ظاہر کر دی ہے۔
یہ اعلان متحدہ عرب امارات کے وزیر برائے ثقافت، نوجوان اور سماجی ترقی شیخ نہیان بن مبارک نے حال ہی میں دبئی میں وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب عثمان بزدار سے ون آن ون ملاقات کے دوران کیا۔
وزیراعلیٰ کے ترجمان کے مطابق شیخ نہیان بن مبارک نے وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا اور پنجاب کے تعمیراتی شعبے میں 60 ارب روپے کی میگا انویسٹمنٹ کرنے کا اعلان کیا جس میں ملک کی پہلی ریاست کی تعمیر بھی شامل ہے۔ لاہور میں آرٹ فلک بوس عمارت جسے 'مبارک سینٹر' کہا جائے گا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ظہبی گروپ (ٹی اے اے وی یو این) پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ کے زیر اہتمام مبارک سنٹر تعمیر کرے گا، منصوبہ دریائے راوی کے کنارے تعمیر کیے جانے کی توقع ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت اس حوالے سے ہر ممکن تعاون فراہم کرے گی۔ تعمیر.
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ "یہ بین الاقوامی کرکٹ ٹیموں کو (پرتعیش) رہائش فراہم کرے گا اور یہ حقیقی معنوں میں گیم چینجر ثابت ہوگا۔"
انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیراعلیٰ عثمان بزدار یقین رکھتے ہیں کہ ظہبی گروپ اس تاریخی میگا پراجیکٹ کو مکمل کرنے کے لیے اپنی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں کو بروئے کار لائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبے بھر میں نئے اسپیشل اکنامک زونز (ایس ای ذیڈ ایس) بنائے جا رہے ہیں۔
