Traffic management plan and beautification scheme demanded by the CM Punjab

The CM while chairing a meeting related to the management of traffic in Lahore, said that a comprehensive line of action had to be formed to deal with the issue. It was because the citizens had been facing problems related to traffic congestion. There had been little to no urban planning done in Lahore recently, He also asked the commissioner of Lahore to formulate recommendations for improving civic matters and the flow of traffic. He said an organized traffic system is a conspicuous symbol of civilized society.

The relevant departments are required to save the citizens from traffic problems since they will be facing an increased number of traffic challenges due to the increase in population. While issuing instructions for the beautification plan for Lahore, the CM said that a certified tree data of the city also needed to be compiled.

لاہور: وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے لاہور اور دیگر بڑے شہروں میں ٹریفک مینجمنٹ کے ساتھ ساتھ میٹرو پولس کے لیے بیوٹیفکیشن سکیم کے لیے ایک ہفتے کے اندر پلان تشکیل دینے کا مطالبہ کر دیا، ایک خبر کے ذرائع نے رپورٹ کیا۔
وزیراعلیٰ نے لاہور میں ٹریفک مینجمنٹ سے متعلق اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس مسئلے سے نمٹنے کے لیے ایک جامع لائن آف ایکشن تشکیل دینا ہوگا۔ جس کی وجہ سے شہریوں کو ٹریفک جام کے مسائل کا سامنا تھا۔ لاہور میں حال ہی میں کوئی شہری منصوبہ بندی نہیں کی گئی تھی، انہوں نے کمشنر لاہور سے شہری معاملات اور ٹریفک کی روانی کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے سفارشات مرتب کرنے کو بھی کہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ٹریفک کا منظم نظام مہذب معاشرے کی نمایاں علامت ہے۔
متعلقہ محکموں کو شہریوں کو ٹریفک کے مسائل سے بچانے کی ضرورت ہے کیونکہ آبادی میں اضافے کی وجہ سے انہیں ٹریفک چیلنجز کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا۔ لاہور کی بیوٹیفکیشن پلان کی ہدایات جاری کرتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ شہر کے درختوں کا تصدیق شدہ ڈیٹا بھی مرتب کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔
