The Rawalpindi District Authority would control private housing societies

Last week, Deputy Commissioner Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema, who also serves as District Council administrator, convened a meeting to address the district's rapid growth of housing societies and assure effective regulation of private housing societies. This decision was made in order to combine power and regulatory tasks into a single civic body.

The major aim is to set the terms and conditions for transferring from the District Council to the RDA the responsibility related with the regulation of private housing societies in Rawalpindi and Building Control.

The Rawalpindi District Council will supply the RDA with needed data and human resources to guarantee a seamless transition and effective regulation. From June 25 onwards, the RDA will officially acquire the responsibilities of overseeing and supervising private housing societies in local government districts, as delegated by the District Council administrator.

راولپنڈی ڈسٹرکٹ ��ونسل آر ڈی اے کو درکار ڈیٹا اور انسانی وسائل فراہم کرے گی تاکہ بغیر کسی رکاوٹ کے منتقلی اور موثر ضابطے کی ضمانت دی جا سکے۔ 25 جون کے بعد سے، آر ڈی اے باضابطہ طور پر مقامی سرکاری اضلاع میں نجی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کی نگرانی اور نگرانی کی ذمہ داریاں حاصل کرے گا، جیسا کہ ضلع کونسل کے منتظم کے ذریعے تفویض کیا گیا ہے۔
