The Gwadar Safe City Project will be finished in the upcoming six months

Professor Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister for planning, development, and special initiatives, gave the Balochistan province administration on Tuesday the go-ahead to update its PC-1 before to the September meeting of the CDWP. While presiding over a steering committee meeting to assess the GSCP's progress, the minister gave these instructions

The minister instructed the Balochistan provincial administration to meet with PSCA the next week in accordance with their successful model in Punjab while monitoring the progress.

The minister also asked about the Quetta Safe City Project's progress during the meeting. It was revealed during the meeting that equipment had been removed for this project and that more work was in progress. The main goal is to adopt maximal security measures for Gwadar, which would be a gateway for the CPEC.

منصوبہ بندی، ترقی اور خصوصی اقدامات کے وفاقی وزیر پروفیسر احسن اقبال نے منگل کے روز صوبہ بلوچستان کی انتظامیہ کو سی ڈی ڈبلیو پی کے ستمبر کے اجلاس سے قبل اپنے PC-1 کو اپ ڈیٹ کرنے کی اجازت دے دی۔ جی ایس سی پی کی پیشرفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے اسٹیئرنگ کمیٹی کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے وزیر نے یہ ہدایات دیں۔
وزیر نے بلوچستان کی صوبائی انتظامیہ کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ اگلے ہفتے پی ایس سی اے کے ساتھ پنجاب میں ان کے کامیاب ماڈل کے مطابق ملاقات کریں اور پیش رفت کی نگرانی کریں۔
وزیر نے ملاقات کے دوران کوئٹہ سیف سٹی پراجیکٹ کی پیشرفت کے بارے میں بھی پوچھا۔ اجلاس کے دوران انکشاف ہوا کہ اس پراجیکٹ کے لیے آلات ہٹا دیے گئے ہیں اور مزید کام جاری ہے۔ اس کا بنیادی مقصد گوادر کے لیے زیادہ سے زیادہ حفاظتی اقدامات کو اپنانا ہے، جو CPEC کے لیے ایک گیٹ وے ہوگا۔
