TEPA to become functional in Faisalabad

He said it when he was reviewing the issues, required resources, departmental strategies, Tepa rules as well as other relevant matters, on Sunday, in a meeting.

The officials who were part of the meeting were FDA Director-General Muhammad Sohail Khawaja, Tepa vice-chairman Sheikh Irfan, MP/focal person Firdous Rai, Director Development Dr. Naveed Iftikhar, Metropolitan Corporation Chief Officer NaeemullahWarraich, CTO Shahzada Umar Akbar, and some other officials.

As per the commissioner, this integrated departmental strategy will help in transport planning and also lead to the proper functioning of the traffic-related matters in a comprehensive manner such as future requirements of installation of traffic signs, also traffic education.

He also said that required steps will be taken to recruit procure staff for the Tepa from the surplus pool of Punjab. He added that the support of a prominent community of the city will be required to making the Tepa projects and activities achieving success.

He also gave directions to the MC Chief officer for taking immediate actions to rectify the bad system of traffic signals` working in Faisalabad and accepted that the adaptation of the Lahore model would make it convenient to raise funds for the Tepa for which certain terms and conditions are required to be implemented upon.

فیصل آباد: کمشنر ثاقب منان نے تمام انتظامی تیاریوں کے لئے تجویز دی ہے جس کے مطابق ٹریفک کے مسائل حل کرنے کے لئے ٹیپہ کو بھی لاہور کی طرح ہی مناسب طریقے سے کام کرنے کے لئے بنایا جانا چاہئے۔

انہوں نے یہ بات اتوار کے روز جب ایک اجلاس میں امور ، مطلوبہ وسائل ، محکمہ جاتی حکمت عملی ، ٹیپا اصولوں کے ساتھ ساتھ دیگر متعلقہ امور کا جائزہ لے رہے تھے۔

اجلاس میں شریک عہدیداران ایف ڈی اے کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل محمد سہیل خواجہ ، ٹیپا کے وائس چیئرمین شیخ عرفان ، ایم پی / فوکل پرسن فردوس رائے ، ڈائریکٹر ڈویلپمنٹ ڈاکٹر نوید افتخار ، میٹرو پولیٹن کارپوریشن کے چیف آفیسر نعیم اللہ وڑائچ ، سی ٹی او شاہزادہ عمر اکبر ، اور کچھ دوسرے عہدیدار

کمشنر کے مطابق ، یہ مربوط محکمہ جاتی حکمت عملی ٹرانسپورٹ کی منصوبہ بندی میں معاون ہوگی اور ٹریفک سے وابستہ معاملات کو جامع انداز میں مناسب انداز میں انجام دینے میں بھی مددگار ثابت ہوگی جیسے ٹریفک کے آثار کی تنصیب کی مستقبل کی ضروریات ، ٹریفک تعلیم بھی۔

انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ پنجاب کے سرپلس پول سے ٹیپا کیلئے پروکیور اسٹاف کی بھرتی کے لئے مطلوبہ اقدامات اٹھائے جائیں گے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کامیابی کے حصول میں ٹیپا منصوبوں اور سرگرمیوں کو بنانے کے لئے شہر کی ایک ممتاز برادری کی حمایت کی ضرورت ہوگی۔

انہوں نے فیصل آباد میں کام کرنے والے ٹریفک سگنلز کے خراب نظام کی اصلاح کے لئے فوری اقدامات کرنے کے لئے ایم سی چیف آفیسر کو ہدایات بھی دیں اور قبول کیا کہ لاہور ماڈل کی موافقت سے ٹیپا کے لئے فنڈ جمع کرنے میں آسانی ہوگی جس کے لئے کچھ شرائط و ضوابط ہیں۔ پر عمل درآمد کرنا ضروری ہے۔
