Strong Balochistan to boost country’s economy: Provincial Governor

Talking to the federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar in Islamabad, the governor said that real development and infrastructure of society depended on a sustainable and stable economic system.

He said that in a rapidly changing world it was imperative to set national priorities in Balochistan keeping in view the requirements of modern times.

Mr. Agha said: “Balochistan is of special importance in terms of its location and in terms of economic development. It is an economic and trade route to Central Asia.”

He said that in view of a mega-project like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, it was necessary to activate technical centres across the province.

The governor said small and big development projects were underway and “we should keep a close eye on all these ongoing development projects, review the quality of materials used in them and the pace of work from time to time so that the poor people got the fruits of these schemes as soon as possible”.

کوئٹہ: صوبائی گورنر سید ظہور احمد آغا نے کہا ہے کہ اگر بلوچستان مضبوط معیشت رکھتا ہے تو یہ ملکی معیشت کو مضبوط کرے گا۔

اسلام آباد میں وفاقی وزیر منصوبہ بندی و ترقی اسد عمر سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے گورنر نے کہا کہ معاشرے کی حقیقی ترقی اور انفراسٹرکچر کا انحصار پائیدار اور مستحکم معاشی نظام پر ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ تیزی سے بدلتی دنیا میں جدید دور کے تقاضوں کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے بلوچستان میں قومی ترجیحات کا تعین ضروری ہے۔

مسٹر آغا نے کہا: "بلوچستان اپنے محل وقوع اور اقتصادی ترقی کے لحاظ سے خاص اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔ یہ وسطی ایشیا کا اقتصادی اور تجارتی راستہ ہے۔
ا��ہوں نے کہا کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری جیسے میگا پراجیکٹ کے پیش نظر صوبے بھر میں تکنیکی مراکز کو فعال کرنا ضروری ہے۔

گورنر نے کہا کہ چھوٹے اور بڑے ترقیاتی منصوبے جاری ہیں اور ہمیں ان تمام جاری ترقیاتی منصوبوں پر گہری نظر رکھنی چاہیے ، ان میں استعمال ہونے والے مواد کے معیار اور وقتا فوقتا کام کی رفتار کا جائزہ لینا چاہیے تاکہ غریب لوگوں کو جتنی جلدی ممکن ہو-
