SNGPL launches mobile vaccination campaign

During the campaign, more than 9,000 people have been vaccinated so far. It is pertinent to mention that the prime minister formally approved the national vaccination campaign on May 31 following which NCOC requested the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to contribute to the campaign.

SNGPL decided to fully cooperate in this campaign of significant national importance. Managing Director, SNGPL, Ali J Hamdani issued special directives in this regard after which the company constituted 50 mobile vaccination teams.

It is noteworthy that the company did not seek any financial or administrative assistance from the government or any other source rather it utilized its own resources, and available manpower for the purpose.

SNGPL’s 50 mobile vaccination teams started operations from 50 localities in 7 different cities of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including the federal capital.

To create public awareness, the company launched a massive awareness campaign through advertisements in newspapers, and banners displayed in different cities. SNGPL’s mobile vaccination teams are led by a doctor.

The teams also include a vaccinator and data entry operators. The company has provided all teams with laptops, internet connection, medical equipment, facemasks, and PPEs.

The mobile vaccination teams are working in collaboration with the local district health authorities which provide Corona vaccines to the teams on daily basis. A flag march of the vehicles taking part in the vaccination drive was also carried out in Lahore.

مہم کے دوران اب تک 9 ہزار سے زائد افراد کو ویکسین دی جا چکی ہے۔ یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ وزیر اعظم نے 31 مئی کو قومی ویکسینیشن مہم کی باضابطہ منظوری دی جس کے بعد این سی او سی نے ریاستی ملکیتی انٹرپرائزز (ایس او ایز) سے مہم میں حصہ لینے کی درخواست کی۔

SNGPL نے اہم قومی اہمیت کی اس مہم میں مکمل تعاون کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔ منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر ، ایس این جی پی ایل ، علی جے ہمدانی نے اس سلسلے میں خصوصی ہدایات جاری کیں جس کے بعد کمپنی نے 50 موبائل ویکسینیشن ٹیمیں تشکیل دیں۔

یہ قابل ذکر ہے کہ کمپنی نے حکومت یا کسی دوسرے ذریعہ سے کوئی مالی یا انتظامی مدد نہیں لی بلکہ اس نے اپنے وسائل اور اس مقصد کے لیے دستیاب افرادی قوت کو استعمال کیا۔

ایس این جی پی ایل کی 50 موبائل ویکسینیشن ٹیموں نے وفاقی دارالحکومت سمیت پنجاب کے 7 مختلف شہروں اور خیبر پختونخوا کے 50 علاقوں سے آپریشن شروع کیا۔

عوامی بیداری پیدا کرنے کے لیے ، کمپنی نے اخبارات میں اشتہارات ، اور مختلف شہروں میں آویزاں بینرز کے ذریعے بڑے پیمانے پر آگاہی مہم شروع کی۔ ایس این جی پی ایل کی موبائل ویکسینیشن ٹیموں کی قیادت ایک ڈاکٹر کر رہا ہے۔

ٹیموں میں ایک ویکسینیٹر اور ڈیٹا انٹری آپریٹرز بھی شامل ہیں۔ کمپنی نے تمام ٹیموں کو لیپ ٹاپ ، انٹرنیٹ کنکشن ، طبی سامان ، فیس ماسک اور پی پی ای فراہم کیے ہیں۔

موبائل ویکسینیشن ٹیمیں مقامی ضلعی صحت حکام کے تعاون سے کام کر رہی ہیں جو ٹیموں کو روزانہ کی بنیاد پر کورونا ویکسین فراہم کرتی ہیں۔ لاہور میں ویکسینیشن مہم میں حصہ لینے والی گاڑیوں کا فلیگ مارچ بھی کیا گیا۔
