Sindh govt announces new curbs for tackle omicron threat

According to the news sources, The Sindh Home Department issued the new guidelines that will be pertinent across the province from Dec 1 (today) to Dec 15. This move comes against the prevention of the new Covid variant.  According to the notification Karachi Division, Sukkur and Sanghar have been categorized as having "good vaccination progress" while the remaining cities/divisions fall under the "low vaccination progress" category.

• According to the notice, Indoor, outdoor meetings allowed for vaccinated individuals. For Karachi, Sukkur, and Sanghar the limit is 500 people for indoor events and 1,000 for outdoor. For the rest of the province, it is 300 people for indoor and 1,000 for outdoor.
• Indoor dining allowed for vaccinated people till 11;59pm. 70pc occupancy for Karachi, Sukkur, and Sanghar and 50pc for the rest of the province.
• Outdoor dining is allowed for fully vaccinated citizens till 11:59 pm.
• Markets and businesses can function till 10 pm while essential services can operate 24/7.
• Indoor gyms, Shrines, and cinemas are open for fully vaccinated persons.
• 100pc attendance at offices with routine timings.
• Amusement parks and swimming pools will operate at 70pc occupancy in Karachi, Sukkur, and Sanghar and 50pc for the rest of the province.
• Public transport will be allowed at 80pc occupancy for vaccinated individuals only. "Mask wearing will continue in all types of public transport services," the notification stated, adding that there would be no "closed day".
• According to the notification, wearing face masks will be obligatory at public places while educational institutions will follow 100pc attendance with a focus on vaccinating students 12 years and above.
• Railways will operate at 80pc occupancy for fully vaccinated individuals and wearing face masks will be mandatory for every individual.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق، محکمہ داخلہ سندھ نے نئی ہدایات جاری کی ہیں جو کہ یکم دسمبر (آج) سے 15 دسمبر تک صوبے بھر میں موزوں ہوں گی۔ یہ اقدام نئے کوویڈ ویرینٹ کی روک تھام کے خلاف ہے۔ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق کراچی ڈویژن، سکھر اور سانگھڑ کو "ویکسینیشن کی اچھی پیش رفت" کے طور پر درجہ بندی کیا گیا ہے جبکہ باقی شہر/ڈویژن "کم ویکسینیشن پیش رفت" کے زمرے میں آتے ہیں۔
نوٹس کے مطابق، ان ڈور، آؤٹ ڈور میٹنگز کی اجازت ویکسین شدہ افراد کے لیے۔ کراچی، سکھر اور سانگھڑ کے لیے انڈور ایونٹس کے لیے 500 افراد اور آؤٹ ڈور کے لیے 1000 افراد کی حد ہے۔ باقی صوبے کے لیے، یہ 300 افراد انڈور اور 1000 آؤٹ ڈور کے لیے ہیں۔
ویکسینیشن والے لوگوں کے لیے رات 11:59 بجے تک انڈور ڈائننگ کی اجازت ہے۔ کراچی، سکھر اور سانگھڑ کے لیے 70 فیصد اور باقی صوبے کے لیے 50 فیصد۔
مکمل طور پر ویکسینیشن لگوانے والے شہریوں کے لیے رات 11:59 بجے تک آؤٹ ڈور ڈائننگ کی اجازت ہے۔
بازار اور کاروبار رات 10 بجے تک کام کر سکتے ہیں جبکہ ضروری خدمات 24/7 کام کر سکتی ہیں۔
انڈور جم، مزارات، اور سینما گھر مکمل طور پر ویکسین شدہ افراد کے لیے کھلے ہیں۔
معمول کے اوقات کے ساتھ دفاتر میں 100(پی سی) حاضری
تفریحی پارکس اور سوئمنگ پول کراچی، سکھر اور سانگھڑ میں 70 فیصد اور باقی صوبے میں 50 فیصد پر کام کریں گے۔
صرف ویکسین کروانے والے افراد کے لیے 80pc قبضے پر پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کی اجازت ہوگی۔ نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ "ہر قسم کی پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ سروسز میں ماسک پہننا جاری رہے گا، اور مزید کہا کہ کوئی "بند دن" نہیں ہوگا۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق، عوامی مقامات پر چہرے کے ماسک پہننا لازمی ہو گا جبکہ تعلیمی ادارے 12 سال یا اس سے زیادہ عمر کے طلباء کو ویکسینیشن لگانے پر توجہ دینے کے ساتھ 100 فیصد حاضری پر عمل کریں گے۔
ریلوے مکمل طور پر ویکسین شدہ افراد کے لیے 80 فیصد قبضے پر کام کرے گا اور ہر فرد کے لیے چہرے کے ماسک پہننا لازمی ہوگا۔
