Shopkeepers in Lahore demand shopping hours from 2pm to 10pm

Each of the major chain stores has demanded that shopping hours be extended from 2pm to 10pm, with store owners saying there are billions of rupees invested, and crores of rupees spent. If there is no sale even on Eid, they will be forced to close their businesses.

Due to Corona, business hours have been kept till 6 pm. Many shopkeepers of the city had expressed concerns over this from the first day, and it has become difficult for them to meet the expenses.

They demanded that the working hours of shops and stores should be increased from 2 pm to 10 pm. Consumers also supported the demand of China store owners. He said that shopping could not be done in the morning or during the day so evening time should be fixed for it.

The owners of China stores have said that billions of rupees have already been lost due to Corona. If there is further loss, hundreds of shops, and will be closed and thousands of people will become unemployed.

On the other hand, Asad Umar, head of the NCOC, and Federal Minister for Planning has warned of a complete lockdown in major cities due to the coronavirus, saying that this week is extremely dangerous.
