Senate Panel Approves Railways Development Budget of Rs. 46.3 billion

According to the news sources, the Senate committee met in Parliament House, with Senator Muhammad Qasim in the chair.

The committee went over the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) plan for 2022-23 and Pakistan Railways’ future strategies in great detail.

The committee was briefed on the strategy for the PSDP 2022-23, which included business development, rolling stock availability, and infrastructure development.

According to the details, it was revealed that strong administration and revenue creation were at the heart of Pakistan Railways’ sustainability plan and that the Ministry would go to great lengths to see that it was realized.

The committee was given a list of new and continuing projects, and it unanimously accepted the entire projected development budget of Rs. 46.3 billion for the fiscal year 2022-23.

کمیٹی نے 2022-23 کے لیے پبلک سیکٹر ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرام (پی ایس ڈی پی) پلان اور پاکستان ریلوے کی مستقبل کی حکمت عملیوں کا تفصیل سے جائزہ لیا۔
کمیٹی کو پی ایس ڈی پی 2022-23 کی حکمت عملی پر بریفنگ دی گئی جس میں کاروبار کی ترقی، رولنگ اسٹاک کی دستیابی اور انفراسٹرکچر کی ترقی شامل تھی۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق، یہ بات سامنے آئی ہے کہ مضبوط انتظامیہ اور ریونیو کی تخلیق پاکستان ریلوے کے پائیدار منصوبے کا مرکز ہے، اور یہ کہ وزارت اس کو عملی جامہ پہنانے کے لیے بھرپور کوشش کرے گی۔
کمیٹی کو نئے اور جاری منصوبوں کی فہرست دی گئی، اور اس نے متفقہ طور پر 1000000 روپے کے ترقیاتی بجٹ ,مالی سال 2022-23 کے لیے 46.3 بلین کو منظور کر لیا۔
