Saudi Arabia expresses keen interest in investing in Pakistan

According to the news sources, the interest was shown by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, who met Chairman Board of Investment Muhammad Azfar Ahsan in Islamabad today [Thursday].

Terming substantial economic Pak-Saudi cooperation vital, the Saudi Ambassador underscored that there is room for collaboration between the two countries in areas of trade and investment.

According to the details, On the occasion, the Board of Investment Chairman briefed the Ambassador about the lucrative investment opportunities in Pakistan with special mention of incentivized priority sectors. He said Pakistan is really looking forward to facilitating Saudi investors in the country.

He also apprised the ambassador of an upcoming investors’ meet-up being organized by BOI and requested the ambassador for participation from the Saudi side.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق یہ دلچسپی سعودی سفیر نواف بن سعید المالکی نے ظاہر کی جنہوں نے آج (جمعرات) اسلام آباد میں چیئرمین بورڈ آف انویسٹمنٹ محمد اظفر احسن سے ملاقات کی۔
سعودی سفیر نے اہم پاک سعودی تعاون کو اہم قرار دیتے ہوئے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ دونوں ممالک کے درمیان تجارت اور سرمایہ کاری کے شعبوں میں تعاون کی گنجائش موجود ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اس موقع پر بورڈ آف انویسٹمنٹ کے چیئرمین نے سفیر کو پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کے منافع بخش مواقع سے آگاہ کیا جس میں ترغیب یافتہ ترجیحی شعبوں کا خصوصی ذکر کیا گیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان واقعی سعودی سرمایہ کاروں کو ملک میں سہولت فراہم کرنے کا منتظر ہے۔
انہوں نے سفیر کو بی او آئ کے زیر اہتمام ہونے والے سرمایہ کاروں کے اجلاس سے بھی آگاہ کیا اور سفیر سے سعودی جانب سے شرکت کی درخواست کی۔
