Karachi: Rs. 37 billion has been allocated for several development projects in Karachi, falling under the funding by the international financial institutions and friendly countries, reported a news source.
During the financial year 2021-22, Rs.16.61 billion was spent on development projects in Karachi, made possible through support from international organizations and friendly countries. In this regard, the federal government’s budget will almost double the amount spent on development projects in Karachi.
According to the federal budget documents, Rs. 90 million has been allocated for setting up an IT park in Karachi, with the held of Korea. The Karachi Neighborhood Improvement project will also cost Rs6.46 billion from the World Bank’s International Development Association Funds. The funds allocated for the upcoming year are at least double the ones spent during the last two financial years.
کراچی: روپے ایک خبر رساں ذریعہ نے رپورٹ کیا کہ کراچی میں متعدد ترقیاتی منصوبوں کے لیے 37 ارب روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں، جو بین الاقوامی مالیاتی اداروں اور دوست ممالک کے فنڈز کے تحت آتے ہیں۔
مالی سال 2021-22 کے دوران کراچی میں ترقیاتی منصوبوں پر 16.61 ارب روپے خرچ کیے گئے جو کہ بین الاقوامی تنظیموں اور دوست ممالک کے تعاون سے ممکن ہوئے۔ اس حوالے سے وفاقی حکومت کا بجٹ کراچی میں ترقیاتی منصوبوں پر خرچ ہونے والی رقم سے تقریباً دوگنا ہو جائے گا۔
وفاقی بجٹ دستاویزات کے مطابق اربوں روپے۔ کراچی میں آئی ٹی پارک کے قیام کے لیے 90 ملین روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں جس کا انعقاد کوریا کے پاس ہے۔ کراچی نیبر ہڈ امپروومنٹ پراجیکٹ پر بھی ورلڈ بینک کے انٹرنیشنل ڈویلپمنٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے فنڈز سے 6.46 بلین روپے لاگت آئے گی۔ آئندہ سال کے لیے مختص کیے گئے فنڈز پچھلے دو مالی سالوں کے دوران خرچ کیے گئے فنڈز سے کم از کم دگنے ہیں۔
