Islamabad: The adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood has said that a relief package for the textile industry is under works, as reported by the news sources.
According to him, the package would help in reviving the sector as the demand for textiles has increased during the lockdown situation. He told about this development while speaking to Radio Pakistan. He also said that the government of Pakistan is keen to pass the benefits of the recent decline in oil prices in the international market to the country’s decision.
Abdul Razak Dawood also talked about the various schemes introduced by the government including the ‘Ehsaas Programme’ that the government has started for the poor. He also announced that the Government of Pakistan also has planned to pay the electricity bills of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for three months.
