RDA will address the illegal buildings construction in Rawalpindi

According to the RDA's spokeswoman, The DG has issued orders to file a FIR against the owners of the marriage hall at Mouza Dagal on Adiala Route and directed the evacuation of illicit businesses from the same road.

Additionally, DG has directed BCW to conduct a survey on the costs associated with approving unlawful structures and regularize all illegal residential and commercial structures on the aforementioned roadways.

In the meantime, the marketers have been warned to suspend their advertising and get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the RDA in compliance with the law, or risk legal repercussions.

Separately, RDA has asked the Punjab Planning and Development Board for help in order to choose a different consulting firm for the Ring Road (R3) project in the city.
