RDA steps to accelerate business activities

Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Tariq Mehmood Murtaza Monday said under the prime minister’s vision, the RDA had seen the high performance on Ease of Doing Business by reducing commercialization fee from 20 to 10 percent under Land Use Rules 2021.

The RDA now approves domestic and commercial maps in just 30 days, changing land use in 45 days and private housing schemes in 75 days. The construction industry has grown 10 times in the last three years, he said.

He said an online facility had been introduced at the One Window Operation Centre for the general public. The maps have been approved for the construction of 132 commercial and 975 residential buildings in 2020-21.

He expressed these views in a meeting. He further said the RDA had set a time frame for issuance of NOC and approval of building plans/maps with a view to facilitating construction activities.

He assured that the RDA would extend all possible support to the business community for the completion of the new industrial estate project.

راولپنڈی: آر ڈی اے کاروباری سرگرمیوں کو تیز کرنے کے لیے مثبت اقدامات کر رہا ہے۔ راولپنڈی ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (آر ڈی اے) کے چیئرمین طارق محمود مرتضیٰ نے پیر کو کہا کہ وزیر اعظم کے وژن کے تحت ، آر ڈی اے نے ایز آف ڈوئنگ بزنس پر اعلی کارکردگی دیکھی ہے تاکہ لینڈ یوز رولز 2021 کے تحت کمرشلائزیشن فیس کو 20 سے 10 فیصد کر دیا جائے۔ آر ڈی اے اب صرف 30 دنوں میں گھریلو اور تجارتی نقشوں کی منظوری دیتا ہے ، 45 دنوں میں زمین کے استعمال کو تبدیل کرتا ہے اور 75 دنوں میں نجی رہائشی سکیموں کو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ گزشتہ تین سالوں میں تعمیراتی صنعت میں 10 گنا اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عام لوگوں کے لیے ون ونڈو آپریشن سینٹر میں ایک آن لائن سہولت متعارف کرائی گئی ہے۔ 2020-21 میں 132 تجارتی اور 975 رہائشی عمارتوں کی تعمیر کے لیے نقشے منظور کیے گئے ہیں۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے ایک اجلاس میں کیا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ آر ڈی اے نے این او سی جاری کرنے اور تعمیراتی سرگرمیوں کو آسان بنانے کے لیے عمارت کے منصوبوں/نقشوں کی منظوری کے لیے ایک ٹائم فریم مقرر کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے یقین دلایا کہ آر ڈی اے نئے انڈسٹریل اسٹیٹ منصوبے کی تکمیل کے لیے کاروباری برادری کو ہر ممکن تعاون فراہم کرے گا۔
