Rawalpindi: According to the news sources, the Rawalpindi Development Authority in the best interest of the public, has announced an extension in the submission date of the Expression of Interests (EOIs) for the selection of consultant for Rawalpindi Master Plan and third-party audit of the housing societies.
The RDA has also rescheduled the parking plaza auction amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country. According to the details, the revised dates are mentioned below:
- The new date for the submission of EOI for Rawalpindi Masterplan consultation is April 20, 2020.
- The new date for the submission of EOI for a third-party audit of the private housing schemes is April 18, 2020.
- The new date for the parking plaza auction is April 09, 2020.
Earlier this year, the RDA had also announced its decision to launch a third-party survey into the 48 private housing schemes in the district to ascertain if they are following the building bylaws and construction regulations. Moreover, the authority had also invited bids to lease out the multi-story parking plaza located at Fawara Chowk. The previous annual contract of the plaza has already expired in February this year.
