RDA Chief asks PEMRA to stop channels from airing ads of illegal housing societies

“I will not bow before the pressure and will utilize all the resources to seal all the illegal/unauthorized housing societies involved in looting money from citizens,” he pledged.

Chairman RDA also wrote letters to Governor of State Bank of Pakistan and DG of Federal Investigation Agency and requested them to block bank accounts/ social media accounts of the owner/followers of the illegal housing societies across the district.

According to Chairman RDA, the official of civic body following the increasing complaints against owners of illegal private housing societies’ looting spree in shape of advertisements on TV channels and social media has taken concrete steps to save innocent people from fraudsters.  The heads of all the three state departments have assured their full cooperation to Chairman RDA in this regard, according to spokesman.

Tariq Mehmood Murtaza advised the citizens/investors to not invest their hard-earned money in these illegal housing societies.

راولپنڈی: چیئرمین آر ڈی اے طارق محمود مرتضیٰ نے پیمرا کے چیئرمین سے غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے اشتہارات نشر کرنے سے ٹی وی چینلز کو روکنے کی درخواست کی۔

انہوں نے وعدہ کیا ، "میں دباؤ کے آگے سر نہیں جھکاؤں گا اور شہریوں سے رقم لوٹنے میں ملوث تمام غیر قانونی / غیر مجاز ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کو سیل کرنے کے لئے تمام وسائل بروئے کار لاؤں گا۔"

چیئرمین آر ڈی اے نے گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان اور فیڈرل انویسٹی گیشن ایجنسی کے ڈی جی کو بھی خطوط لکھے اور ان سے ضلع بھر میں غیر قانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے مالکان / پیروکاروں کے بینک اکاؤنٹس / سوشل میڈیا اکاؤنٹس بلاک کرنے کی درخواست کی۔

چیئرمین آر ڈی اے کے مطابق ، غیر قانونی نجی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے مالکان کے خلاف بڑھتی ہوئی شکایات کے بعد شہری ادارہ کے عہدیدار نے ٹی وی چینلز اور سوشل میڈیا پر اشتہارات کی شکل میں لوٹ مار کی اتنی بڑی تعداد میں بے گناہ لوگوں کو جعلسازوں سے بچانے کے لئے ٹھوس اقدامات اٹھائے ہیں۔ ترجمان کے مطابق ، تینوں ریاستی محکموں کے سربراہان نے چیئرمین آر ڈی اے کو اس سلسلے میں اپنے مکمل تعاون کی یقین دہانی کرائی ہے۔

طارق محمود مرتضیٰ نے شہریوں / سرمایہ کاروں کو مشورہ دیا کہ ان غیرقانونی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں میں اپنی محنت سے کمائی جانے والی رقم کی سرمایہ کاری نہ کریں۔
