Rawalpindi Ring Road Project Details Shared By RDA Chief Engineer During The Public Hearing

During the public hearing, held in District Council Hall Rawalpindi, Chief Engineer RDA announced the details related to the Rawalpindi Ring Road project. He informed them about the ring road being a 38.3 km, 3 lane dual carriageway. However, it would not have service lanes on either side as the land beside it would be used to improve the environment by planting local species of trees.

It was further informed that the ring road was being constructed according to the approved route alignment, which does not affect or pass through any housing society.

It was also announced that industrial zones would be set up on both sides of Adiala Road, Chakri Road, and Chakbeli Road, and Rawalpindi Ring Road to boost the local economy by Prime minister Pakistan.

راولپنڈی: چیف انجینئر آر ڈی اے نے 29 مارچ 2022 کو ماحولیاتی عوامی سماعت کے دوران اعلان کیا کہ راولپنڈی رنگ روڈ 38.3 کلومیٹر، 3 لین ہائی سپیڈ ڈوئل کیریج وے ہے، ایک نئے ذریعہ کی اطلاع ہے۔
ڈسٹرکٹ کونسل ہال راولپنڈی میں منعقدہ عوامی سماعت کے دوران چیف انجینئر آر ڈی اے نے راولپنڈی رنگ روڈ منصوبے سے متعلق تفصیلات کا اعلان کیا۔ انہوں نے انہیں رنگ روڈ 38.3 کلومیٹر، 3 لین ڈوئل کیریج وے کے بارے میں بتایا۔ تاہم، اس کے دونوں طرف سروس لین نہیں ہوں گے کیونکہ اس کے ساتھ والی زمین کو مقامی اقسام کے درخت لگا کر ماحول کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے استعمال کیا جائے گا۔
مزید بتایا گیا کہ رنگ روڈ منظور شدہ روٹ الائنمنٹ کے مطابق تعمیر کی جا رہی ہے جس سے کسی بھی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کا گزرنا متاثر نہیں ہوتا۔
یہ بھی اعلان کیا گیا کہ وزیراعظم پاکستان کی جانب سے مقامی معیشت کو فروغ دینے کے لیے اڈیالہ روڈ، چکری روڈ، چکبیلی روڈ اور راولپنڈی رنگ روڈ کے دونوں اطراف صنعتی زونز قائم کیے جائیں گے۔
