Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry members invited to invest in Gwadar

Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) Chairman Naseer Khan Kashani has invited members of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) to take advantage of golden opportunities for investment in the port city.

Speaking at a meeting with the QCCI members here on Monday, he said the government had already announced plans to extend maximum facilities and incentives to those businessmen who intended to make investment in Gwadar. He assured them of giving priority to their proposals about investment and trade.

Mr Kashani said 92 per cent of work on Eastbay Expre­ssway had been completed, while the Pakistan-China Vocational Center was made ready three months ago and the pace of work had been accelerated on other projects launched under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in Gwadar city and other areas of the coastal district.

The QCCI patrons, Chief Ghulam Farooq Khliji, Senior Vice President Abdullah Achakzai, Vice President Akh­tar Kakar, Yahya Khan Nasir, Fujan Bareech, Ayub and others, welcomed Mr Kashani on his arrival at the Chamber.

He said that more and more people were benefiting from the golden opportunity of working in Gwadar. He said the people involved in the industry and trade would have to make a quick and timely decision on the investment in Gwadar Port.

The GPA chairman said more trade-friendly measures were being taken. He said that steps would be taken for tax exemption and other incentives.

“We will be able to build 31 berths in Gwadar by 2050.”

کوئٹہ: گوادر پورٹ اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین کی طرف سے کوئٹہ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے ممبران کو گوادر میں سرمایہ کاری کی دعوت دی گئی ہے۔

گوادر پورٹ اتھارٹی (جی پی اے) کے چیئرمین نصیر خان کاشانی نے کوئٹہ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (کیو سی سی آئی) کے ممبران کو دعوت دی ہے کہ وہ بندرگاہی شہر میں سرمایہ کاری کے سنہری مواقع سے فائدہ اٹھائیں۔

پیر کو یہاں کیو سی سی آئی کے ارکان کے ساتھ ایک اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ، انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت نے پہلے ہی ان کاروباری افراد کو زیادہ سے زیادہ سہولیات اور مراعات دینے کے منصوبوں کا اعلان کیا ہے جو گوادر میں سرمایہ کاری کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے سرمایہ کاری اور تجارت کے بارے میں اپنی تجاویز کو ترجیح دینے کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔

مسٹر کاشانی نے کہا کہ ایسٹ بے ایکسپریس وے پر 92 فیصد کام مکمل ہوچکا ہے ، جبکہ پاک چین ووکیشنل سینٹر تین ماہ قبل تیار کیا گیا تھا اور چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری کے تحت شروع ہونے والے دیگر منصوبوں پر کام کی رفتار تیز کردی گئی تھی۔ گوادر شہر اور ساحلی ضلع کے دیگر علاقے۔

کیو سی سی آئی کے سرپرست ، چیف غلام فاروق خلجی ، سینئر نائب صدر عبداللہ اچکزئی ، نائب صدر اختر کاکڑ ، یحییٰ خان ناصر ، فوجن بریچ ، ایوب اور دیگر نے مسٹر کاشانی کو چیمبر پہنچنے پر خوش آمدید کہا۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگ گوادر میں کام کرنے کے سنہری موقع سے فائدہ اٹھا رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ صنعت اور تجارت سے وابستہ افراد کو گوادر پورٹ میں سرمایہ کاری کے حوالے سے فوری اور بروقت فیصلہ کرنا ہوگا۔

جی پی اے کے چیئرمین نے کہا کہ مزید تجارتی دوستانہ اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ٹیکس چھوٹ اور دیگر مراعات کے لیے اقدامات کیے جائیں گے۔
ہم 2050 تک گوادر میں 31 برتھ بنا سکیں گے۔
