Punjab to present Rs. 2.653 trillion Budget today

The budget session will be the first session in the newly constructed building of the Punjab Assembly. The total outlay of the budget is increased by about 18 percent, and the development budget has gained by 66 percent as compared to the current fiscal year.

For the first time in the history of the province, a separate annual development plan of Rs.189 billion is allocated for south Punjab, while these schemes would also be available in separate budget books.

Furthermore, the funds allocated for south Punjab will completely be utilized for development purposes, and out of total development schemes, a minimum of 35 percent would be allocated for south Punjab in each sector.

The government has allocated over Rs200 billion for the social sector which included health and education sectors, Rs145 billion for infrastructure development, over Rs55 billion for production sectors including agriculture, tourism, industry, wildlife, forest, fisheries, and more than Rs.90 billion allocated for special programs.

The government has allocated Rs.1 billion for Cholistan Development Authority (CDA) for water reservoirs, and road infrastructure, while Rs15 billion for community development programs.

Furthermore, Rs. 99 billion has been allocated out of the total Rs295 billion district development program in budget 2021-22 for all districts of Punjab.

لاہور: وزیر خزانہ پنجاب صوبائی بجٹ پیش کررہے ہیں جس میں اے ڈی پی کے لئے 560 ارب روپے مقرر کۓگۓ ہیں-

پنجاب اسمبلی کی نئی تعمیر شدہ عمارت میں بجٹ اجلاس کا پہلا سیشن ہوگا۔ رواں مالی سال کے مقابلہ میں بجٹ میں مجموعی طور پر 18 فیصد اضافہ ہوا ہے اور ترقیاتی بجٹ میں 66 فیصد اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

صوبہ کی تاریخ میں پہلی بار جنوبی پنجاب کے لئے 189 ارب روپے کا سالانہ ترقیاتی منصوبہ مختص کیا گیا ہے ، جبکہ یہ اسکیمیں بجٹ کی الگ کتابوں میں بھی دستیاب ہوں گی۔

مزید یہ کہ جنوبی پنجاب کے لئے مختص فنڈز کو مکمل طور پر ترقیاتی مقصد کے لئے استعمال کیا جائے گا ، اور کل ترقیاتی اسکیموں میں سے ، ہر سیکٹر میں جنوبی پنجاب کے لئے کم از کم 35 فیصد مختص کیا جائے گا۔

حکومت نے معاشرتی شعبے کے لئے 200 ارب روپے مختص کیے ہیں جس میں صحت اور تعلیم کے شعبے شامل ہیں ، بنیادی ڈھانچے کی ترقی کے لئے 145 ارب روپے ، زراعت ، سیاحت ، صنعت ، جنگلات کی زندگی ، جنگلات ، ماہی گیری ، اور 90 ارب روپے سے زیادہ مختص سامانوں سمیت پیداواری شعبوں کے لئے 55 ارب روپے مختص ہیں۔

حکومت نے آبی ذخائر ، اور سڑک کے انفراسٹرکچر کے لئے چولستان ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (سی ڈی اے) کے لئے ایک ارب روپے جبکہ کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ پروگراموں کے لئے 15 ارب روپے مختص کیے ہیں۔

مزید ، روپے پنجاب کے تمام اضلاع کے لئے بجٹ 2021-22 میں ضلعی ترقیاتی پروگرام میں 295 ارب روپے میں سے 99 ارب مختص کئے گئے ہیں۔
