Punjab govt. releases funds for Rawalpindi Ring Road project

While addressing a presser, the chairman said that RDA will acquire the land for the Ring Road project that would be started by the end of this week.

On the occasion, Director Admin WASA / Deputy Director Finance RDA Muhammad Junaid Taj Bhatti, Deputy Director Planning RDA Muhammad Ijaz, and Umer Farooq were also present. The RDA Chairman said that the mega project is being launched by the government to ease traffic, control urbanization, and shift the small industrial units outside the city under the public-private partnership program.

He also said that the basic needs of citizens of Rawalpindi include clean drinking water, Ring Road, Leh Nullah Expressway and Flood Channel, Ghazi Barotha, and Chahan Dam projects that will start very soon.

Since coming into charge, Tariq Mehmood Murtaza has been trying to provide the best public service facilities to the public. His notable contributions include implementation of framework for the approval of building plan within 30-day time, change of land use approval within 45 days, approval of housing schemes within 75 days, digitization, and record scanning started to save office records and construction of a one-window setup.

راولپنڈی: راولپنڈی ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی (آر ڈی اے) کے چیئرمین طارق محمود مرتضیٰ نے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت نے راولپنڈی رنگ روڈ منصوبے کے لئے اراضی کے حصول کے لئے فنڈز جاری کردیئے ہیں۔

چیئرمین نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ آر ڈی اے رنگ روڈ منصوبے کے لئے اراضی حاصل کرے گی جو اس ہفتے کے آخر تک شروع ہوجائے گی۔

اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر ایڈمن واسا / ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر فنانس آر ڈی اے محمد جنید تاج بھٹی ، ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر پلاننگ آر ڈی اے محمد اعجاز اور عمر فاروق بھی موجود تھے۔ آر ڈی اے چیئرمین نے کہا کہ حکومت کی جانب سے ٹریفک کو آسان بنانے ، شہریوں کو کنٹرول کرنے اور شہر سے باہر چھوٹے صنعتی یونٹوں کو پبلک پرائیویٹ پارٹنرشپ پروگرام کے تحت منتقل کرنے کے لئے میگا پروجیکٹ شروع کیا جارہا ہے۔

انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ راولپنڈی کے شہریوں کی بنیادی ضروریات میں پینے کے صاف پانی ، رنگ روڈ ، لیہ اللہ ایکسپریس وے اور فلڈ چینل ، غازی باروتھا اور چاہن ڈیم منصوبے شامل ہیں جو بہت جلد شروع ہوجائیں گے۔

اقتدار میں آنے کے بعد سے ، طارق محمود مرتضی عوام کو عوامی خدمات کی بہترین سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لئے کوشاں ہیں۔ اس کی قابل ذکر شراکت میں 30 دن کے اندر عمارت کے منصوبے کی منظوری کے لئے فریم ورک کا نفاذ ، 45 دن میں زمین کے استعمال کی منظوری میں تبدیلی ، ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کی 75 دن کے اندر منظوری ، ڈیجیٹلائزیشن اور ریکارڈ اسکیننگ دفتر کے ریکارڈ کو بچانے کے لئے شروع کی گئی اور ونڈو سیٹ اپ کی تعمیر شامل ہے۔
