Punjab Govt allocates funds for roads in Budget 2021

These funds will be spent in the next 3 years in the constituencies of government assembly members. The changing government will provide a district development package of Rs. 134 billion for the construction of roads. The assembly members of Lahore will get only Rs.

The fund will be spent only on road sector projects, 1113 road schemes in the constituencies will be completed, while 25 roads in Lahore will get 1.8 billion in 3 years, most of the funds will be spent on Multan assembly members. 9 billion will be given, Bahawalpur will get Rs. 8 billion, Mianwali will get Rs. 6.33 billion, Rawalpindi will get Rs. 5 billion. The package will be spent only on the construction of roads in government constituencies.

Sources said that the budget has recommended allocating 50 percent funds for the road sector, the Department of Communications and Construction and the Highways Department will complete the program, and funds will be provided to government members of the Assembly for other sectors as well. Earlier, the PTI government had also launched a Rs 30 billion community development program

یہ فنڈز آئندہ 3 سال میں حکومتی ارکان اسمبلی کے حلقوں میں خرچ ہوگا، تبدیلی سرکار سڑکوں کی تعمیر کیلئے ایک کھرب 34 ارب کا ڈسٹرکٹ ڈویلپمنٹ پیکج دے گی، لاہور کے ارکان اسمبلی کو صرف 7 ارب ملیں گے، پیکج میں ایک کھرب 34 ارب کا فنڈ صرف روڈ سیکٹر کے منصوبوں پر خرچ ہوگا.
حلقوں میں 1113 روڈ کی سکیمیں مکمل ہوں گی، جبکہ لاہور کی 25 سڑکوں کو ایک ارب 8 کروڑ 3 سال میں ملیں گے، سب سے زیادہ فنڈز ملتان کے ارکان اسمبلی پر خرچ ہوں گے، انہیں 9 ارب ملیں گے، بہاولپور8 ارب، میانوالی 6 ارب 33 کروڑ، راولپنڈی کو 5 ارب ملیں گے، پیکج صرف حکومتی ارکان اسمبلی کے حلقوں میں سڑکوں کی تعمیر پر خرچ ہوگا، فنڈ مختص کرنے کیلئے تجاویز حکومت کو پیش کردی گئی ہیں۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ بجٹ میں روڈ سیکٹر کی مد میں 50 فیصد فنڈ مختص کرنے کی سفارشات کی گئی ہیں، محکمہ مواصلات و تعمیرات اور ہائی وے ڈیپارٹمنٹ پروگرام کو مکمل کریں گے، حکومتی ارکان اسمبلی کو دیگر شعبوں کیلئے بھی فنڈز دیئے جائیں گے، اس سے قبل پی ٹی آئی حکومت 30 ارب کا کمیونٹی ڈویلپمنٹ پروگرام بھی شروع کرچکی ہے۔
