PSX introduces a new sector, "property" for non-REIT real estate companies

This addition allows PSX to perceive the economy in the composition of listed companies a lot better. Added to that, it also allows the distinct representation of the important elements of the real state and the construction of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The total number of sectors in the PSX is now 36, with the addition of this sector. Three companies currently placed in the “property” sector include Javedan Corporation Limited, Pace Limited, and TPL Properties Ltd.

The regulatory changes observed were carried out by the SECP, particularly for the REITs. This will help incorporate the property sector into the listed and formal economy, helping increase its importance. Therefore, it was decided to introduce a separate classification so that investors can follow and invest in the sector easily.  

کراچی: پاکستان اسٹاک ایکسچینج (PSX) کی جانب سے ایک نیوز سیکٹر کا باضابطہ طور پر آغاز کیا گیا ہے جسے غیر REIT رئیل اسٹیٹ لسٹڈ کمپنیوں کے لیے "پراپرٹی" کا نام دیا گیا ہے۔
یہ اضافہ PSX کو لسٹڈ کمپنیوں کی تشکیل میں معیشت کو بہت بہتر طریقے سے سمجھنے کی اجازت دیتا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ، یہ حقیقی ریاست کے اہم عناصر کی واضح نمائندگی اور پاکستان اسٹاک ایکسچینج کی تعمیر کی بھی اجازت دیتا ہے۔
اس شعبے کے اضافے کے ساتھ اب PSX میں سیکٹرز کی کل تعداد 36 ہے۔ فی الحال "پراپرٹی" کے شعبے میں رکھی گئی تین کمپنیوں میں جاویدان کارپوریشن لمیٹڈ، پیس لمیٹڈ، اور ٹی پی ایل پراپرٹیز لمیٹڈ شامل ہیں۔
ریگولیٹری تبدیلیوں کا مشاہدہ SECP نے کیا، خاص طور پر REITs کے لیے۔ اس سے پراپرٹی سیکٹر کو لسٹڈ اور فارمل اکانومی میں شامل کرنے میں مدد ملے گی، اس کی اہمیت کو بڑھانے میں مدد ملے گی۔ اس لیے ایک الگ درجہ بندی متعارف کرانے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا تاکہ سرمایہ کار اس شعبے کی پیروی کر سکیں اور آسانی سے اس شعبے میں سرمایہ کاری کر سکیں۔
