Protecting Common People from Global Price-Hike is Govt’s Top Priority: PM

According to the news sources, Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan said that the government’s foremost priority is to protect the common man from the effects of global level price-hike. The statement was made, while presiding over a high-level meeting in Islamabad, regarding the economic situation of the country. The meeting also included the global phenomenon of rising essential goods.

According to the details, the global price-hike crisis was caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic; the government accords the priority to public relied on amidst the current situation. Furthermore, the discussion was made of surpassing 100$ price per barrel of crude oil in the international market.

This was a result of the current conflicts in the region. Similarly, the prices of gas have also observed a 3 to 5 times increase. Furthermore, the prices of edibles also observed an increase, specifically palm oil.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق پاکستان کے وزیراعظم عمران خان نے کہا ہے کہ حکومت کی اولین ترجیح عام آدمی کو عالمی سطح پر مہنگائی کے اثرات سے بچانا ہے۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے اسلام آباد میں ملک کی معاشی صورتحال کے حوالے سے اعلیٰ سطح کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ میٹنگ میں ضروری اشیاء کی بڑھتی ہوئی عالمی رجحان کو بھی شامل کیا گیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق عالمی سطح پر قیمتوں میں اضافے کا بحران عالمی کورونا وائرس-19 وبائی مرض کی وجہ سے پیدا ہوا تھا۔ حکومت موجودہ حالات میں عوام پر انحصار ک��نے کو ترجیح دیتی ہے۔ مزید برآں، بین الاقوامی منڈی میں خام تیل کی فی بیرل قیمت 100 ڈالر سے تجاوز کرنے پر بھی بحث کی گئی۔
یہ خطے میں موجودہ تنازعات کا نتیجہ تھا۔ اسی طرح گیس کی قیمتوں میں بھی 3 سے 5 گنا اضافہ دیکھا گیا ہے۔ مزید برآں، کھانے کی اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں بھی اضافہ دیکھا گیا، خاص طور پر پام آئل۔
