Proposal submitted to allocate Rs 60 billion development package for Lahore

Preliminary proposals for the development budget for the next financial year have been submitted to the Chief Minister's House.

Preparations for the budget of the new financial year are underway. The P&D Board has sent the first draft of the development budget of Punjab for the next financial year to the Chief Minister's House.

According to this, it has been proposed to allocate Rs. 1.26 trillion for new development projects in Punjab.

According to P&D board officials, the budget for the new financial year will also include funds for the prevention of corona, and purchase of vaccines, while proposing to allocate a budget of more than Rs 60 billion for more than 300 projects in Lahore.

The budget also includes proposals to allocate additional funds in the urban development budget including the clean water and the road sector.

لاہور: آئندہ مالی سال کے ترقیاتی بجٹ کے لئے ابتدائی تجاویز ایوان وزیر اعلی کو پیش، پنجاب میں 4 کھرب 75 ارب جبکہ لاہور کے لیے 60 ارب روپے کا ترقیاتی پیکج مختص کرنے کی تجاویز ڈرافٹ میں شامل ہیں۔

نئَے سال کے ترقیاتی بجٹ کے لئے ابتدائی تجاویز چیف منسٹر ہاؤس میں پیش کردی گئیں۔

نئے مالی سال کے بجٹ کی تیاریاں جاری ہیں۔محکمہ پی اینڈ ڈی بورڈ نے پنجاب کے آئندہ مالی سال کے ترقیاتی بجٹ کا پہلا مجوزہ ڈرافٹ ایوان وزیر اعلی کو ارسال کردیا ہے ۔
جس کے مطابق ایک کھرب 26 ارب روپے سے پنجاب میں نئے ترقیاتی منصوبے شروع کیے جائیں گے۔

محکمہ پی اینڈ ڈی بورڈ حکام کے مطابق نئے مالی سال کے ��جٹ میں کورونا کے تدارک اور ویکسین کی خریداری کے لیے بھی فنڈ رکھے جائیں گے ،جبکہ لاہور کے تین سو سے زائد منصوبوں کے لیے 60 ارب روپے سے زائد کا بجٹ مختص کرنے کی تجاویز دی گئی ہیں۔

بجٹ میں صاف پانی ،روڈ سیکٹر سمیت اربن ڈویلپمنٹ کے بجٹ میں اضافی فنڈ مختص کرنے کی تجاویز بھی شامل ہیں۔
