Property owners will now receive smart cards: Faisalabad Development Authority

The initiative attempts to digitise records and eliminate any chance of fraud, forgery, or document manipulation.

The FDA's Operation Director, Qaseem Alvi, offered information on the smart card characteristics that will guarantee the security and safety of property files.

He asserted that the digitalization of plot files will ensure the safety of all data in the event of theft, fire, or other calamities.

According to him, the introduction of the smart card system is a step in the direction of effective administration and transparency in real estate transactions.

Additionally, according to department officials, the use of smart cards is anticipated to speed and safeguard the processes involved in transferring and owning property.
