Progress Of Karachi Coastal Developmental Zone Reviewed By BoI And KPT

Chairman of Karachi Port Trust, Nadir Mumtaz informed the meeting that the spadework of the project was already underway and early development of the project could be expected. KCCDZ will be located in the backwater area on the west embankment of KPT, and the project entails the development of three artificial islands through the reclamation of land in surrounding waters.

The concept of the KCCDZ project was developed to solve the issues related to the Karachi port and to resolve many of the infrastructure issues which plague the City of Karachi. The project has been initiated under the joint working group in the second phase of CPEC, which is being led by the Board of Investment from Pakistan and the National Development and Reforms Commission from the Chinese side.

کے سی سی ڈی ذیڈ منصوبے کا تصور کراچی بندرگاہ سے متعلق مسائل کو حل کرنے اور بنیادی ڈھانچے کے بہت سے مسائل کو حل کرنے کے لیے تیار کیا گیا تھا جو کراچی شہر کو پریشان کرتے ہیں۔ یہ منصوبہ سی پیک کے دوسرے مرحلے میں مشترکہ ورکنگ گروپ کے تحت شروع کیا گیا ہے جس کی قیادت پاکستان سے سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور چین کی جانب سے نیشنل ڈویلپمنٹ اینڈ ریفارمز کمیشن کر رہا ہے۔
