President to increase foreign trade to uplift country export

According to the news sources, while addressing a meeting on Borders and Trade Management in Balochistan here at Aiwan-e-Sadr Dr. Arif Alvi asked the concerned organizations to take steps for easing the importers and exporters of the border areas of Balochistan to enhance the country’s exports.

The attendees of this meeting include Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Minister of Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin, Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bezenjo, Secretary Interior Yousaf Naseem Khokar, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mather Niaz Rana, and other senior officials.

According to the news sources, the meeting was briefed about the problems being faced by the people and traders of Balochistan. It was informed that the province had no petrol pumps in the remote areas and the traders along the border also lacked necessary facilities such as communication, banks, and roads infrastructure.

The President asked the relevant departments to take practical steps for ease of doing business and help facilitate the transportation of goods from Balochistan to other provinces.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق یہاں ایوان صدر میں بلوچستان میں بارڈرز اینڈ ٹریڈ مینجمنٹ کے حوالے سے منعقدہ اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے متعلقہ اداروں سے کہا کہ وہ بلوچستان کے سرحدی علاقوں کے درآمد کنندگان اور برآمد کنندگان کی آسانی کے لیے اقدامات کریں۔ ملک کی برآمدات
اجلاس کے شرکاء میں چیئرمین سینیٹ محمد صادق سنجرانی، وزیر خزانہ و محصولات شوکت ترین، گورنر بلوچستان سید ظہور احمد آغا، وزیراعلیٰ بلوچستان میر عبدالقدوس بزنجو، سیکرٹری داخلہ یوسف نسیم کھوکر، چیف سیکرٹری بلوچستان مھر نیاز رانا اور دیگر متعلقہ حکام نے شرکت کی۔۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق اجلاس میں بلوچستان کے عوام اور تاجروں کو درپیش مسائل سے آگاہ کیا گیا۔ بتایا گیا کہ صوبے کے دور دراز علاقوں میں کوئی پیٹرول پمپ نہیں ہے اور سرحد کے ساتھ تاجروں کے پاس مواصلات، بینکوں اور سڑکوں کے بنیادی ڈھانچے جیسی ضروری سہولیات کا بھی فقدان ہے۔
صدر نے متعلقہ محکموں سے کہا کہ وہ کاروبار کرنے میں آسانی کے لیے عملی اقدامات کریں اور بلوچستان سے دیگر صوبوں تک سامان کی نقل و حمل کو آسان بنانے میں مدد کریں۔
