PM’s aide assures all-out support to boost tourism in KP

According to the news sources, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Tourism Coordination Azam Jamil on Wednesday said that the federal government would provide all possible support to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for the promotion of tourism and cultural activities in the province.

During his visit to the provincial metropolis, he said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the preferred destination for domestic and international tourists because of its abundant natural beauty and richly diverse cultural heritage.

Secretary Sports, Tourism, Archaeology, Culture, Museums, and Youth Affairs Amir Sultan Tarin and the PM aide later visited the Peshawar Museum, Gor Khatri, Sethi House, and Heritage Trail.

According to the details, Director Archaeology Dr. Abdul Samad briefed the special assistant about the history and heritage of the city and the artifacts in the Peshawar Museum.

“Peshawar City has a history and remained the center of various religions in the past,” Azam Jamil said, adding that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s robust steps were praiseworthy for boosting tourism and cultural activities across the province.

While talking to the media he further added that Peshawar was famous for traditional delicious foods and an important and unique city in the context of history, archaeological sites, and tourism in the region.

Azam Jamil said that scores of people come from abroad and across the country to visit these scenic places to experience the beauty KP has to offer.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے سیاحتی رابطہ اعظم جمیل نے بدھ کو کہا کہ وفاقی حکومت صوبے میں سیاحت اور ثقافتی سرگرمیوں کے فروغ کے لیے خیبر پختونخوا حکومت کو ہر ممکن تعاون فراہم کرے گی۔
صوبائی شہر کے دورے کے دوران، انہوں نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا اپنے قدرتی حسن اور متنوع ثقافتی ورثے کی وجہ سے ملکی اور بین الاقوامی سیاحوں کے لیے پسندیدہ مقام ہے۔
سیکرٹری کھیل، سیاحت، آثار قدیمہ، ثقافت، عجائب گھر، اور امور نوجوانان عامر سلطان ترین اور وزیر اعظم کے معاون نے بعد میں پشاور میوزیم، گور کھتری، سیٹھی ہاؤس، اور ہیریٹیج ٹریل کا دورہ کیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ڈائریکٹر آرکیالوجی ڈاکٹر عبدالصمد نے معاون خصوصی کو شہر کی تاریخ و ورثہ اور پشاور میوزیم میں موجود نوادرات سے آگاہ کیا۔
اعظم جمیل نے کہا، "پشاور شہر کی ایک تاریخ ہے اور ماضی میں مختلف مذاہب کا مرکز رہا،" انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ صوبہ بھر میں سیاحت اور ثقافتی سرگرمیوں کو فروغ دینے کے لیے خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کے مضبوط اقدامات قابل تعریف ہیں۔
میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پشاور روایتی لذیذ کھانوں کے لیے مشہور ہے اور خطے میں تاریخ، آثار قدیمہ اور سیاحت کے حوالے سے ایک اہم اور منفرد شہر ہے۔
اعظم جمیل نے کہا کہ کے پی کی پیش کردہ خوبصورتی کا تجربہ کرنے کے لیے بیرون ملک اور ملک بھر سے بہت سے لوگ ان قدرتی مقامات کا دورہ کرنے آتے ہیں۔
