PM will inaugurate houses for laborers

Provincial Minister for Labor and Tourism Shaukat Yousafzai has said that we have built 2056 free houses for workers in Peshawar which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan next month and we will hand over the keys to the workers before Ramadan.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of visiting journalists led by Lahore Press Club President Arshad Ansari and senior journalist Naeem Mustafa at the Officers Mess in Lahore on the occasion.

A press club commemorative shield was also presented. Shaukat Yousafzai said that the Ministry of Labor was considered the weakest ministry but it is the second-largest ministry in the province with two secretaries and three DGAs serving thousands of employees.

Despite numerous problems, many hospitals and welfare agencies have been set up to sell substandard and low-weight items at hotels and petrol pumps. He said that we are also running several hospitals and schools for the workers through our department.

While tourism has created record projects in the province, many foreign companies are investing in tourism in Khyber.

Despite living in Shangla, he said that I did not know how big a resort it is where thousands of tourists can be invited. The government is building a tourist squad there. Similarly, a tourist highway is also being built there.

ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے اس موقع پر لاہور میں آفیسرز میس میں لاہور پریس کلب کے صدر ارشاد انصاری اور سینئر صحافی نعیم مصطفی کی سربراہی میں دورہ کرنے والے صحافیوں کے وفد سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔

ایک پریس کلب کی یادگاری شیلڈ بھی پیش کی گئی۔ شوکت یوسف زئی نے کہا کہ وزارت محنت کو سب سے کمزور وزارت سمجھا جاتا تھا لیکن یہ صوبے کی دوسری بڑی وزارت ہے جس میں دو سکریٹریوں اور تین ڈی جی اے نے ہزاروں ملازمین کی خدمت کی ہے۔

بے شمار پریشانیوں کے باوجود ، بہت سارے اسپتالوں اور فلاحی اداروں کو ہوٹلوں اور پیٹرول پمپوں پر غیر معیاری اور کم وزن والی اشیاء فروخت کرنے کے لئے قائم کیا گیا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم اپنے محکمے کے ذریعہ کارکنوں کے لئے متعدد اسپتال اور اسکول بھی چلا رہے ہیں۔

جب کہ سیاحت نے صوبے میں ریکارڈ منصوبے بنائے ہیں ، بہت ساری غیر ملکی کمپنیاں خیبر میں سیاحت میں سرمایہ کاری کررہی ہیں۔

شانگلہ میں رہنے کے باوجود ، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ یہ کتنا بڑا حربہ ہے جہاں ہزاروں سیاحوں کو مدعو کیا جاسکتا ہے۔ حکومت وہاں ایک سیاحتی دستہ بنا رہی ہے۔ اسی طرح وہاں ایک سیاحتی شاہراہ بھی تعمیر کی جارہی ہے۔
