ISLAMABAD: The prime minister, while chairing a meeting to review progress on the said projects, emphasized they were of vital importance for the nation, particularly Lahore.
According to information shared at a meeting on Ravi Urban Development (RUD) and Central Business District (CBD) projects on Thursday, the revenue of Rs15 billion is projected from the sale of seven mixed-use plots in the CBD.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan to review the progress was briefed on components of the Rural-Urban Development Authority (RUDA) projects that will be considered for inclusion in the CPEC projects.
According to the details, the meeting was also informed that the Chaharbagh residential project, which spans 1,500 kanals and has 3,000 flats, including 1,000 low-cost homes, has been launched.
In addition, the conference was informed that 17,500 applications have been received for the balloting that will take place next month.
About the CBD, the meeting was told that leveling and excavation work has started in Walton.
PM Imran Khan also directed the Punjab government to actively pursue legal cases pending against these projects.
Earlier, the meeting was informed that green spaces have been reserved in all the projects and clean technologies would be used to ensure environmentally friendly construction.
The meeting was attended by Lt-Gen Anwar Ali Haider (retd), chairman, Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority, and senior officials.
Provincial Minister Punjab Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Dr. Salman Shah, Chief Secretary Punjab, and senior officials of the Punjab government joined via video link.
اسلام آباد: وزیراعظم نے مذکورہ منصوبوں پر پیش رفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ وہ قوم بالخصوص لاہور کے لیے انتہائی اہمیت کے حامل ہیں۔
جمعرات کو راوی اربن ڈویلپمنٹ (آر یو ڈی) اور سینٹرل بزنس ڈسٹرکٹ (سی بی ڈی) کے منصوبوں پر ایک میٹنگ میں مشترکہ معلومات کے مطابق، (سی بی ڈی) میں مخلوط استعمال کے سات پلاٹوں کی فروخت سے 15 بلین روپے کی آمدنی متوقع ہے۔
وزیراعظم عمران خان کی زیر صدارت اجلاس میں پیش رفت کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے رورل اربن ڈیولپمنٹ اتھارٹی (آر یو ڈی اے) کے منصوبوں کے اجزاء کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی گئی جن پر سی پیک منصوبوں میں شمولیت پر غور کیا جائے گا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق اجلاس کو یہ بھی بتایا گیا کہ 1500 کنال پر پھیلے چہار باغ رہائشی منصوبے کا آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے جس میں 1000 کم لاگت کے گھروں سمیت 3000 فلیٹس ہیں۔
اس کے علاوہ کانفرنس کو بتایا گیا کہ آئندہ ماہ ہونے والی بیلٹنگ کے لیے 17500 درخواستیں موصول ہوئی ہیں۔
سی بی ڈی کے بارے میں اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ والٹن میں لیولنگ اور کھدائی کا کام شروع کر دیا گیا ہے۔
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے پنجاب حکومت کو ان منصوبوں کے خلاف زیر التوا قانونی مقدمات کی سرگرمی سے پیروی کرنے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔
قبل ازیں اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ تمام منصوبوں میں سبز جگہیں مختص کی گئی ہیں اور ماحول دوست تعمیرات کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے کلین ٹیکنالوجیز کا استعمال کیا جائے گا۔
اجلاس میں نیا پاکستان ہاؤسنگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین لیفٹیننٹ جنرل انور علی حیدر (ر) اور سینئر حکام نے شرکت کی۔
صوبائی وزیر پنجاب میاں محمود الرشید، وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب کے مشیر ڈاکٹر سلمان شاہ، چیف سیکرٹری پنجاب اور پنجاب حکومت کے اعلیٰ حکام نے ویڈیو لنک کے ذریعے شرکت کی۔
