Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Green Line Bus Service in Karachi on February 7, which confirms Governor Sindh Imran Ismail.
Karachi: According to the news sources, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that the Green Line Bus Service will become operational from February 7, 2020. Speaking to the media, the governor said that PM Imran Khan had directed him to monitor the construction work to ensure it completes timely.
Governor Sindh insisted that the federal and provincial governments need to work closely in order to ensure that the project does not miss another deadline. The modalities of rent and subsidies have already been finalized by both governments.
Karachi’s Green Line Bus project is spread over an area of 24 kilometers and has 25 stations that are distributed in some of the most densely populated areas of the city. 12.7 KM of the track is elevated and 10.9 KKM is at a gradient while 422 meters is underground.
