PM Imran Khan inspected construction projects in New Blue Area Islamabad

PM Imran Khan said that Islamabad is also facing the problem of unorganized expansion of the city, creating the issues of cleanliness, sewerage, and pollution.

The premier said that he wants to hold regular meetings with the builders for resolving their issues. He added that the government is willing to construct high-rise buildings in Islamabad that will end the unorganized expansion of the city.

The builders said that the tax rate was reduced from 10 percent to 5 percent following the construction policy of the federal government.

Earlier in March last year, PM Imran Khan had launched the multi-billion commercial Blue Area project in Islamabad. He had said that the Blue Area project in Islamabad will not only create jobs but will attract investment from overseas Pakistanis.

He had said one megaproject on its pattern will be launched in Lahore and on in Karachi soon. PM Khan had also visited the proposed site of the project opposite F-9 Park in Islamabad.

He had been briefed that the land will be utilized primarily for rehabilitation of the federal capital, provision of services and improvement of the environment.

اسلام آباد: وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے جاری تعمیراتی منصوبوں کا معائنہ کرتے ہوئے نیو بلیو ایریا کا دورہ کیا۔

وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ اسلام آباد کو بھی شہر کی غیر منظم توسیع کے مسئلے کا سامنا ہے جس سے صفائی ، سیوریج اور آلودگی کے مسائل پیدا ہو رہے ہیں۔

وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ وہ ان مسائل کے حل کے لئے معماروں سے باقاعدہ ملاقاتیں کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ حکومت اسلام آباد میں بلند و بالا عمارتیں تعمیر کرنے پر راضی ہے جس سے شہر کی غیر تنظیمی توسیع کا خاتمہ ہوگا۔

بلڈروں کا کہنا تھا کہ وفاقی حکومت کی تعمیراتی پالیسی کے بعد ٹیکس کی شرح 10 فیصد سے گھٹ کر 5 فیصد کردی گئی ہے۔

اس سے قبل گذشتہ سال مارچ میں ، وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے اسلام آباد میں ملٹی بلین کمرشل بلیو ایریا منصوبہ شروع کیا تھا۔ انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ اسلام آباد میں بلیو ایریا پروجیکٹ نہ صرف ملازمتیں پیدا کرے گا بلکہ بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کی سرمایہ کاری کو راغب کرے گا۔

انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ اس کی طرز پر ایک میگا پروجیکٹ جلد لاہور اور کراچی میں شروع کیا جائے گا۔ وزیر اعظم خان نے اسلام آباد میں ایف نائن پارک کے سامنے پروجیکٹ کی مجوزہ سائٹ کا بھی دورہ کیا تھا۔

انہیں بتایا گیا تھا کہ اس زمین کو بنیادی طور پر وفاقی دارالحکومت کی بحالی ، خدمات کی فراہمی اور ماحولیات کی بہتری کے لئے استعمال کیا جائے گا۔
