PM directs to protect green areas in Islamabad

The PM, while presiding a weekly meeting of the National Coordination Committee for Housing, Construction, and Development said that Islamabad was the only planned city of Pakistan but its beauty was defacing.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Information & Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz, Advisor to PM, Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Special Assistants to PM Malik Ameen Aslam, Dr. Shehbaz Gill, Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Dr. Waqar Masood, Federal and Provincial Secretaries and senior officers. Speaking to the attendees, PM Khan said that the construction sector had a vital role in keeping the country’s economic wheel running as it is the need of the hour.

Governor State Bank of Pakistan was also present in the meeting and briefed that the targets given to commercial banks regarding housing and construction for this quarter have been achieved to a larger extent. He further informed that banks have been directed to facilitate the consumers to the maximum capacity in that regard.

He also informed the meeting that hundreds of State Bank officers were engaged in Mystery Shopping from various banks on a daily basis to check how the customers are being facilitated.

اسلام آباد: نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق وزیر اعظم پاکستان عمران خان نے عہدیداروں کو اسلام آباد میں سبز علاقوں کے تحفظ کے لئے اقدامات کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔

وزیر اعظم نے قومی رابطہ کمیٹی برائے ہائوسنگ ، تعمیرات ، اور ترقی کے ہفتہ وار اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اسلام آباد پاکستان کا واحد منصوبہ بند شہر تھا لیکن اس کی خوبصورتی کو پامال کررہا ہے۔

اجلاس میں وزیر اطلاعات و نشریات سینیٹر شبلی فراز ، وزیر اعظم کے مشیر ڈاکٹر عشرت حسین ، وزیر اعظم کے خصوصی معاونین ملک آمین اسلم ، ڈاکٹر شہباز گل ، سید ذوالفقار عباس بخاری ، ڈاکٹر وقار مسعود ، وفاقی اور صوبائی سیکریٹریز اور سینئر شریک تھے۔ افسران۔ وزیر اعظم خان نے شرکاء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک کے معاشی پہیے کو چلانے میں تعمیراتی شعبے کا اہم کردار ہے کیونکہ یہ وقت کی ضرورت ہے۔

گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان بھی اس میٹنگ میں موجود تھے اور بریفنگ دی کہ اس سہ ماہی میں رہائش اور تعمیر کے حوالے سے تجارتی بینکوں کو دیئے گئے اہداف بڑی حد تک حاصل کرلیے گئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ بینکوں کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ صارفین کو اس سلسلے میں زیادہ سے زیادہ صلاحیت تک سہولت فراہم کریں۔

انہوں نے اجلاس کو یہ بھی بتایا کہ اسٹیٹ بینک کے سیکڑوں افسران روزانہ کی بنیاد پر مختلف بینکوں سے پر اسرار شاپنگ میں مصروف رہتے ہیں تاکہ معلوم کریں کہ کس طرح صارفین کو سہولت فراہم کی جارہی ہے۔
