PHC CJ inaugurates Bannu Bench building

The inauguration ceremony was attended by judges of the PHC, Bannu Bench, officers of the district administration, office-bearers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, High Court Bar Association, District Bar Association, lawyers, and media persons.

The Chief Engineer (South) of the Communications and Works Department gave a briefing to the chief justice and the guests about the project which was followed by an inspection of the building.

It was stated that the administrative approval of the project amounted to Rs 950 million while the total area of the building was 27.5 Kanal.

The premises, he added, contained three courtrooms with allied offices, a research resource center, a conference room, a library, a bar room, offices of the additional registrar, additional advocate general, and attorney general besides residences of the judges.

In his welcome address, the additional registrar, Bannu Bench, thanked the chief justice for gracing the occasion. The president, Peshawar High Court Bar Association, Bannu Bench, thanked the chief justice as well for attending the ceremony.

The chief justice stressed that judicial autonomy and transparency in the justice system were his top priorities but his concern for the protection of human rights and facilitating the litigants by making less expensive, and more expeditious justice available to them was no less important.

افتتاحی تقریب میں پی ایچ سی کے ججوں ، بنوں بنچ ، ضلعی انتظامیہ کے افسران ، خیبر پختونخوا بار کونسل ، ہائیکورٹ بار ایسوسی ایشن ، ڈسٹرکٹ بار ایسوسی ایشن کے عہدیداران ، وکلاء اور میڈیا کے افراد شریک ہوئے

محکمہ مواصلات اور تعمیرات کے چیف انجینئر (جنوبی) نے چیف جسٹس اور مہمانوں کو اس منصوبے کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی جس کے بعد عمارت کا معائنہ کیا گیا۔

بتایا گیا کہ اس منصوبے کی انتظامی منظوری 950 ملین روپے تھی جبکہ عمارت کا کل رقبہ 27.5 کنال تھا۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ احاطے میں اتحادی دفاتر ، ایک ریسرچ ریسورس سنٹر ، ایک کانفرنس روم ، ایک لائبریری ، بار روم ، ایڈیشنل رجسٹرار کے دفاتر ، ایڈیشنل ایڈووکیٹ جنرل اور اٹارنی جنرل کے علاوہ ججوں کی رہائش گاہیں تھیں۔

اپنے استقبالیہ خطبہ میں ، ایڈیشنل رجسٹرار ، بنوں بنچ نے اس موقع کی حمایت کرنے پر چیف جسٹس کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ صدر ، پشاور ہائی کورٹ بار ایسوسی ایشن ، بنوں بنچ نے تقریب میں شرکت کرنے کے لئے چیف جسٹس کا بھی شکریہ ادا کیا۔

چیف جسٹس نے زور دے کر کہا کہ عدالتی خودمختاری اور نظام عدل میں شفافیت ان کی اولین ترجیحات ہیں لیکن انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ اور قانونی کارروائیوں میں کم مہنگا بنا کر قانونی چارہ جوئی کرنے میں ان کی فکرمندی کم اہم نہیں ہے۔
