Peri-Urban Plan for Gujar Khan and Kallar Syedan in Rawalpindi: RDA approves

RAWALPINDI: On Thursday, the peri-urban structure plan to safeguard green spaces in the tehsils of Gujar Khan and Kallar Syedan was approved by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). (Reported by news source)

The RDA's governing body's 61st meeting was presided over by Chairman Tariq Mahmood Murtaza.

The primary goal of the peri-urban structure plan is to designate areas in two tehsils of the district for business, housing developments, and educational facilities. Red lines will also be drawn on green areas where no structures will be built.

Following its approval, a plan will be created for Taxila and Kahuta next month. RDA has already created the plan for Gujar Khan and Kallar Syedan.

The governing body, on the other hand, also instructed the RDA's land use and planning division to consult on the implementation of Rule 45 of the Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Scheme Rules 2021.

The consultant has been instructed by the governing body to deliver the proposed peri-urban structure plan/side development zone for two tehsils, Taxila and Kahuta, at the next meeting.

پیری اربن اسٹرکچر پلان کا بنیادی ہدف ضلع کی دو تحصیلوں کے علاقوں کو کاروبار، رہائش کی ترقی اور تعلیمی سہولیات کے لیے مختص کرنا ہے۔ سبز علاقوں پر بھی سرخ لکیریں کھینچی جائیں گی جہاں کوئی ڈھانچہ نہیں بنایا جائے گا۔
اس کی منظوری کے بعد اگلے ماہ ٹیکسلا اور کہوٹہ کے لیے پلان بنایا جائے گا۔ آر ڈی اے گوجر خان اور کلر سیداں کے لیے پہلے ہی منصوبہ بنا چکا ہے۔
دوسری جانب گورننگ باڈی نے آر ڈی اے کے زمینی استعمال اور منصوبہ بندی ڈویژن کو پنجاب ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹیز پرائیویٹ ہاؤسنگ سکیم رولز 2021 کے رول 45 کے نفاذ کے لیے مشاورت کرنے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔
کنسلٹنٹ کو گورننگ باڈی کی طرف سے ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ دو تحصیلوں ٹیکسلا اور کہوٹہ کے لیے مجوزہ پیری اربن سٹرکچر پلان/سائیڈ ڈویلپمنٹ زون کو اگلی میٹنگ میں پیش کرے۔
