PDMA completes reconstruction of 57 flood-affected schools

A spokesperson for PDMA stated that the Provincial Reconstruction Rehabilitation and Settlement Authority (PRRSA) had completed work on 57 flood-affected schools in the province so far while construction work on 53 others continues that would be completed soon.

He said that currently, PRRSA is working on flood-affected Government Higher Secondary School Akbarpura in the Nowshera district, which is in the final stages of completion. Almost 88 percent of work on the school has been done so far and the remaining construction work would be completed in August 2021.

پی ڈی ایم اے کے ترجمان نے بتایا کہ صوبائی تعمیر نو بحالی اور آبادکاری اتھارٹی (پی آر آر ایس اے) نے اب تک صوبے میں سیلاب سے متاثرہ 57 اسکولوں پر کام مکمل کرلیا ہے جبکہ 53 دیگر پر تعمیراتی کام جاری ہے جو جلد مکمل ہوجائے گا۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ فی الحال ضلع نوشہرہ کے سیلاب سے متاثرہ گورنمنٹ ہائر سیکنڈری اسکول اکبر پورہ میں کام کر رہا ہے ، جو تکمیل کے آخری مراحل میں ہے۔ ابھی تک اسکول پر تقریبا 88 فیصد کام ہوچکا ہے اور بقیہ تعمیراتی کام اگست 2021 میں مکمل کرلیا جائے گا۔
