Pakistan To Become Fastest Growing Country in Asia After 3 Months: PM

According to the news sources, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, while speaking at the inaugural session of the International Chambers Summit 2022 in Islamabad, recently said that Pakistan is going to be the fastest-growing country in Asia after three months.

Despite Pakistan’s economic turmoil, Imran Khan believes that the country is in a better economic condition than India. According to the details, Imran Khan said, Pakistan has a better economic condition than many other countries in the region, especially India.

“In comparison to many other countries, Pakistan remains one of the cheapest. They (the opposition) accuse us of being incompetent, but the truth is that our government has saved the country from numerous crises,” he added.

According to the report, Khan also stated that among others, Pakistani oil prices are lower than those in other countries.

Imran Khan’s claims come as the government plans to introduce a finance law in Parliament in response to the International Monetary Fund’s demands (IMF). If passed, the bill will smooth the way for a USD 1 billion tranche of funding to Pakistan.

نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق پاکستان کے وزیراعظم عمران خان نے حال ہی میں اسلام آباد میں انٹرنیشنل چیمبرز سمٹ 2022 کے افتتاحی اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان تین ماہ بعد ایشیا میں سب سے تیزی سے ترقی کرنے والا ملک بننے جا رہا ہے۔
پاکستان کی معاشی بدحالی کے باوجود عمران خان کا ماننا ہے کہ ملک کی معاشی حالت بھارت سے بہتر ہے۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق عمران خان نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی معاشی حالت خطے کے دیگر ممالک بالخصوص بھارت سے بہتر ہے۔
بہت سے دوسرے ممالک کے مقابلے میں، پاکستان اب بھی سستا ترین ممالک میں سے ایک ہے۔ وہ (اپوزیشن) ہم پر نااہل ہونے کا الزام لگاتے ہیں، لیکن سچ یہ ہے کہ ہماری حکومت نے ملک کو کئی بحرانوں سے بچایا ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق خان نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ دیگر ممالک کے مقابلے پاکستانی تیل کی قیمتیں کم ہیں۔
عمران خان کے یہ دعوے ایسے وقت میں سامنے آئے ہیں جب حکومت بین الاقوامی مالیاتی فنڈ (آئی ایم ایف) کے مطالبات کے جواب میں پارلیمنٹ میں مالیاتی قانون لانے کا ارادہ رکھتی ہے۔ اگر یہ بل منظور ہو جاتا ہے تو پاکستان کو 1 بلین امریکی ڈالر کی فنڈنگ کی راہ ہموار ہو جائے گی۔
