Pakistan soon to have World’s Second largest Eiffel Tower replica

The good news for Pakistanis at home and abroad is that Pakistan is soon going to have the world’s second-largest Eiffel Tower replica in Gujranwala as a part of an innovative housing Scheme named Le Paris, Preliminary Planning Permission for which has recently been granted by Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA).

Envisioned by the country’s acclaimed entrepreneur par excellence, Sheikh Mahmood Iqbal, the project’s preliminary planning has been approved for an area of 2,352 acres of land. The final face of the project is planned on almost 5000 acres.

Professionals at Wilmotte & Associates, one of the top five companies in its domain in France, have extensively started work on various aspects of Town & Master Planning and Urban Design of Le Paris Gujranwala; where, under the supervision of Wilmotte teams, development works will commence very soon.

They are not only providing technical expertise for creating a true replica of Paris and the world’s largest Eiffel Tower replica but are also coming up with unique environment-friendly urban development concepts which are going to be another first for this part of the world.

Estimated to cost around US$ 50 million (more than Rs. 8 billion), work on the construction of this Eiffel Tower replica (only one matching the exact size of the original in Paris) with a 324 meters height is scheduled to start in the first half of 2022 under the technical supervision of professionals from Wilmotte, France.
