Pakistan Post to deliver vehicle smart cards to owners

According to the says, a press release (E&TDP) has decided to deliver vehicle smart cards and number plates through Pakistan post. The delivery of number plates to motor vehicles owners at their doorsteps has already been started through Pakistan Post last week. The services are being provided to the public after the mutual contract signed between Excise and Taxation Department Punjab and Pakistan Post.

According to the news sources, after provision of service throughout, the province including Rawalpindi, the vehicle owners have been relieved from having to visit the excise offices. These will now be delivered through Pakistan Post’s Urgent Mail service.

Chief Postmaster Abdul Ghaffar Brohi has directed immediate instructions to the staff to ensure immediate distribution of all received packets It is learned that steps are being taken in other provinces including the federal capital to provide all such services to the people through Pakistan Post.

بیانات کے مطابق، ایک پریس ریلیز (ای اینڈ ٹی ڈی پی) نے پاکستان پوسٹ کے ذریعے گاڑیوں کے سمارٹ کارڈز اور نمبر پلیٹس فراہم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ پاکستان پوسٹ کے ذریعے موٹر گاڑیوں کے مالکان کو ان کی دہلیز پر نمبر پلیٹس کی فراہمی پہلے ہی شروع کر دی گئی ہے۔ یہ خدمات محکمہ ایکسائز اینڈ ٹیکسیشن پنجاب اور پاکستان پوسٹ کے درمیان طے پانے والے باہمی معاہدے کے بعد عوام کو فراہم کی جا رہی ہیں۔
نیوز ذرائع کے مطابق راولپنڈی سمیت صوبہ بھر میں سروس کی فراہمی کے بعد گاڑی مالکان کو ایکسائز دفاتر کے چکر لگانے سے نجات مل گئی ہے۔ یہ اب پاکستان پوسٹ کی ارجنٹ میل سروس کے ذریعے پہنچائی جائیں گی۔
چیف پوسٹ ماسٹر عبدالغفار بروہی نے سٹاف کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ تمام موصول شدہ پیکٹس کی فوری تقسیم کو یقینی بنایا جائے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ پاکستان پوسٹ کے ذریعے عوام کو ایسی تمام سہولیات فراہم کرنے کے لیے وفاقی دارالحکومت سمیت دیگر صوبوں میں اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
